I like this swap idea - I think it's very fresh! :) But, I'm always wary of sender's choice...I wouldn't want to send something to my partner that they would dislike, be offended by, or allergic to and feel the same in return.

If you host this again as a profile surprise type, I'd love to join! :D

Thank you. When ever I see a Senders' Choice I always look at my partners profile to see what their likes and dislikes are....I figured since this was a group Swap we might all think that way. but I understand your point and respect your decision... Maybe next time

The thing about profile surprises in this type of swap is that you can't be sure you can find everything that will suit your partner. After all, it is a thrift shop, so there is no guarantee about what will be available. And a swap like this that has you searching for four items might be a bit stressful. I always make it a point to check my partner's profile, too, even on sender's choice. At the very least, I try to take dislikes into consideration. I feel certain that since this is a great group of swappers, that will definitely be considered. :-) I just love any excuse to go to the thrift shop. :-)

Hey, I just realized she left a good amount of time between the sign up and send date, so yeah, I could see that working out as a profile surprise if given plenty of time.

whaat a creative concept:) consider doing another? nursery rhyme hunts or famous poems/saying like the one used for this swap would be fun & challenge our creativity :)

I got one thing today. The first time I went to two thrift stores and couldn't find anything. Probably because I am actually having to look. Good thing I got some time to find the neatest stuff :o) I love the idea for a nursery rhyme hunt. That would be a lot of fun as well.
