Description:

This swap is for $50 of grocery coupons and a little note to your partner about anything you want to say. You will have 2 partners and send them each one note and $50 in coupons.
I just saw an ad on television for double coupons and even triple coupons for a local store. Now, I haven't used coupons in awhile but to me, that seems like free money. Or close to free, I still have to cut them and do the shopping but more money for me is good. Now I need to get a good variety of coupons together so I'm hoping others use coupons or want to start and we can share. I mainly buy fruit and vegetables but I've decided to try to use more coupons for other products, like dog and cat items. So, this swap is for $50 value of assorted grocery coupons. The coupons can not expire within two weeks of your sending them. Other then that they should total at least $50 in value. Of course, you can always send more. Newbies are welcome with a well filled out profile.

For this swap I would like to request that I don't get any dog or makeup coupons. I don't have a dog and I don't wear makeup.

If you need to send some to reach your $50 limit I will totally understand and won't rate you any differently.

Is there anyone else who doesn't want certain coupons.

For anyone interested, there is a new coupon group that has just started.

I don't need diaper or any baby product coupons, nor do I need cat food or dog food coupons. Gluten-free products or health food type products are very welcome, as are swiffer, ice cream, kid school supplies, asian or mexican type foods, pasta, fruit juices, yogurt... etc. I'll find someone that can use any that I don't need.

I usually shop at Publix which allows you one manufacturer's coupon, one Publix coupon and one competitor's coupon for each thing you buy, so even if the coupon is just good for Food Lion or Bi-Lo or the Pig or something, I can still use them to stack! They also double coupons under 50cents.

I am a huge proponent of printables and as long as they aren't out of date don't mind receiving them. I usually get mine from coupons.com or southernsavers.com

Did I mention I'm a huge coupon fan? I also have through trial and error come up with the best coupon sorting system I've seen (in my opinion) - get a hard back notebook and look on ebay for stamp collector's stock sheets 8 1/2 x 11 inches - I use 4S size - this gives you four transparent pockets on each side. Any size coupon fits on these, and so when I'm in a certain section I just open my notebook and I see every coupon I have right there in front of me. Sometimes I fold long ones in half, I can still see the product. I have a pocket such as for pencils in the front of the notebook and as I use them I put it in that holder so they are all there at the end of shopping. No more standing in the aisle flipping through coupon after coupon to see if you have one for what you want to buy, it's all in view just flip the page.

sorry for the long comment but thought if you guys were doing coupon swaps you might want to know

I just love your idea Druideye for the coupon holder!! How many pages do you think you used for all your coupons? I really do not like to flip coupon after coupon when I am looking for one, so this would solve my problem.

I have a similar coupon holder it's a 3-ring binder with baseball card inserts. I love it and have saved a lot of money since I organized my coupons this way. I definitely prefer food coupons, but will take anything.

I don't need Baby, Dog, NO health and Beauty cpns at all No diet, diabetic and no healthy organic cpns No internet printed cpns as we can't use them here. I've been couponing since 1978. I've tried binders, cpn holders etc but now ... I use a photo album for my coupons. The album is 8"X8" approx and it has about 50 pages in it and holds 4 picture size pockets on each page. Its not as big as a binder and the pockets are alot bigger than baseball card size. No folding or bending cpns.

I dont need pet or baby coupons, but whatever extras you have will be greatly appreciated. I do have a teen daughter so health and beauty coupons are always welcome.

BeckyKay 02/13/2010 #

I'll take your baby coupons! LOL! Particularly diaper coupons. And I am great with printables, too!

wolfeagle 02/13/2010 #

No cleaning items or baby items for me, please.

nelliebugsdotcom 02/13/2010 #

I don't have pets.. or babies.. but I do have children. I'm not picky really. I love Febreze, candles, cleaning stuff, etc. Printables are fine! I'm thankful for anything and will pass unused coupons on.

lcove2000 02/13/2010 #

I will also be happy to take your printable coupons. Thanks.

druideye 02/13/2010 #

@handmade2 I probably use 15 or 20 sheets. I tried the photo album and even the baseball card holders and they just didn't work as well as I wanted them to, because with a photo album... you could only put a few coupons a page unless you want them to be behind each other. Same for baseball card holders.. they don't always fit the size of coupons I had and to make the most I'd have to put more than one coupon in each plus you have to sit there and dig your fingers into them because the pockets are deep, what about the little tiny coupons down at the bottom? I like my system now because the coupons are never on top of each other, the pockets hold every size of coupon. The most I might have to do is pull down a larger coupon to see the expiration date on a coupon in the pocket above. Not saying mine's the best system or anything but if you are frustrated with your system in any way, I'd suggest trying this system even with a few sheets to see if you like it. If anyone would like to set up a private coupon trade with me, I'll send you a few sheets of stock to try out!

Hi everyone! I don't need coupons for baby, pet or cleaning products. I'll definitely use coupons for baking, juice/coffee, paper products, dairy (we love cheese!), etc. thanks!

handmade2 02/14/2010 #

Hi fellow swappers, I can use most any catagorie of coupons except for heath & beauty & baby. My children are grown and no grandchildren. Thanks for your help and happy swapping.

DixieDiane 02/15/2010 #

If anyone wants to swap privately on a regular basis...Just email me...if you want to swap once per month? Twice per month? Just email me and send me your coupon 'wishlist' and I will do the same. We can discuss how many and how often then.
