Themed Container Swap: Steampunk

The revolution has begun and getting supplies to the front is of the utmost importance! The Neo-Victorian Advancement Revolutionaries are in dire need of metal for their fabrications and inventions, fabric, leather, and lace for their corsets, uniforms, and parasols! The Worthington 6000 Flying Machine will be leaving 2 weeks hence to carry the goods to our comrades! We all must do our part and send the supplies to fight for the cause!

If you like steampunk and just can't get enough supplies to make your creations, this is the swap for you! Actually, even if you don't like steampunk per se, but like victorian, technology, gears, metal, leather and lace this may also be the swap for you!

You will send your partner one decorated container in the steampunk fashion filled with items that can be used for steampunk creations. Containers can be matchboxes, bottles, tins, jars or boxes. Whatever it is make sure it will hold at least as much as 250 count matchbox, no tiny containers and is decorated in the steampunk style. Use your imagination to fill it, but some items you could include are:

watch parts, faces and hands random bits of metals leather lace keys fabric vials and other small containers gears netting gems and jewels(not real, of course,lol,unless you are very giving!LOL)

• chains
• lockets
• charms /vials/findings
• old typewriter keys
• jewelery that could be used to alter, such as bracelets and rings
• victorian items/images
• paper pieces,punchies,stickers,die cuts, etc. that would fit the genre
• Ribbons, trims, wire, etc.
• maps
• paint and inks
• polymer clay
• stamped images

I'm sure there are many other items that would be great for this, just think old world romance and new world technology combined and you will come up with many more ideas! There are many sites on steampunk, but here's a few to get you started:

I will give some extra time on this, so you can make this something your partner will love! I will assume that if you are in the group, then you will meet all requirements, but I do reserve the right to ban anyone questionable to protect all swappers.
