The Best Medicine: Green & Lucky (USA/Canada)

Since St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner, let's alter a medicine bottle in the theme of green and lucky.

For this swap you need to be medicated (or at least know someone who is)! Or else you won't have anything to stuff full of goodies for your partner. Even if you aren't 'officially' medicated a nice sized Tylenol bottle or some other over the counter medicine bottle will work. Also, it was brought to my attention during our last swap, that you can simply ask for an empty bottle at the pharmacy counter if you don't have one available. However, if you have one on hand, by all means, please use that one in the interest of recycling and reusing.

Simply find one of your EMPTY pill bottles and fill it full of green and lucky surprises for your partner (make sure to wash it out first). Also, be creative and alter the outside of the bottle to fit the green and lucky theme. Use any medium you would like. Send a quality piece of work. Don't just slap a sticker on it and call it done. Embellish, paint, collage...just so long as it would look neat sitting at someone's crafting station.

Sizes vary, but stay away from smaller sample sized bottles.

Everything doesn't have to be green. There are plenty of things that are considered lucky that aren't necessarily green. Think about good luck charms and things along those lines!

• Embellishments
• Pin back buttons
• Inchies
• Magnets

Use your imagination! Not everything has to have a four-leaf clover or pot of gold on it. Read about other cultures and what they consider good luck symbols to find inspiration for your bottle.

• No recent low ratings or no sends
• Regional - USA/Canada
• Newbies welcomed with at least 7 snail mail swaps AND a well filled out profile
• Quality work only: Send only what you would be happy to receive
• If anyone sends late without communication to their partner as well as the host they will be removed from the group
• Failure to rate your partner in a timely manner after receiving the swap will also result in removal from the group
