Description:

This swap is for those new to the wide wonderful world of ATC's (artist trading cards).

The first swap is still in progress, but has become quite popular, so I decided to start a second one and continue the fun! Who knows? Maybe we'll settle into a rhythym and we'll all get a nice little collection of ATC's out of it. I am hanging my burgeoning collection in baseball card pages on my kitchen wall.

The subject of this swap will be junk mail. I thought this might be fun to try - a bit of collage along with any other techniques you want to add. Go to your mailbox and get your mail. Yes, now. Yes, I'll wait ...... OK, glad to see you back. Set aside the bills and the fun stuff from your last swap. I want just the crap for this project. Take a good look at your junk mail and see what jumps out at you. Is it an especially nifty looking logo, or a badly worded advertisement? Maybe just a font that's got you in a tizzy? Make an ATC-sized collage out of your junk mail. Theme is sender's choice, though it never hurts to make one you think your partner might like.

Feel free to add to the collage using any other media/materials you feel comfortable with, but please put some thought into it and make a card you'd be happy to receive. To make this an easy swap for newbies, you will send one card to one partner. I am leaving lots of time for this swap so you don't need to feel rushed and have plenty of time to make a card that really pleases you.

The card should be 2.5x3.5 inches, and any media maybe used as long as it fits into a standard trading card sleeve (think plastic sleeves used to store/protect baseball cards). You should use a sturdy card for backing (I use cut up cereal boxes to back my cards, or heavy card stock)

This swap is open to everyone with a well-filled-out profile, but please be mindful of your partner and don't flake. If I have problems with you during this swap, I will ban you from my future swaps.

Please message me or leave a comment if you have any questions. As this is my first time coordinating a swap, I am making this a US-only swap.

We have a group now!! Go Join!! Ignore the typo in the name!!
