When I saw this website of "Creative Tea Packaging" I was amused, entranced, and wished I could have tea creatively packaged! (View the website here: http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/1NN7zK/www.toxel.com/inspiration/2010/01/27/clever-and-creative-tea-packaging/ This swap is to provide your one partner with a creatively packaged teabag (or as many teabags as you need to provide for your creative vision). Note: Please use packaged tea bags (the type that have a foil-type or other wrapper), and do leave the package on, because unwrapped tea bags are more prone to damage in mailing.... Also, do check your swap partner's preferences in tea types and flavors!

Hmm... this sounds like a great challenge and wonderful idea, but does that mean we have to create something creative not with the teabag but with the packaging? You are right it has to be packaged, as many countries will not accept unsealed food items being brought into the country, like all EU states. But doesn't that mean we can't really produce something as nice as the examples on the website?

I'm thinking that (depending on the teabag; some are wrapped in cellophane, and some have the sealed foil wrapper), that there is a lot available to be done with the tea tags attached to the teabag with string (they would be great for inchies fans to dress up), I think another idea would be to perhaps make a special 'outer' wrapper or box for the teabag, or make another type object out of the wrapped bags. Or, even an origami 'cover' for the bags..... I'm so curious to see what everyone will dream up.

Yes indeedy, you can use any amount of bags that you would like/need to send....I have one idea that would take about 10 bags, myself if I can figure out how to do it.....
