Description:

Here's your chance to trade some stickers and some stationary.

You will get one partner. You will send that partner 30 stickers (sheet or loose), 2 sheets of stationary (that match) and 1 envelope.

By stationary I mean any normal sized letter writing stationary paper. Not memo paper, notebook paper etc.

If you send some one tiny stickers (try not to) then be sure to recognize 4 tiny stickers will count as 1 sticker.

Do not send: Teacher stickers Holiday stickers Alphabet stickers Stickers that do not stick anylonger

I am making this a type 2 mail listing but if you want you can go type 3. I can fit the sticker, stationary and envelop in a regular business size envelope (4 X 9) but do whatever works at your house.

If you get an envelope containing 30 stickers, 2 sheets of stationary and 1 envelope you must rate at least a five. If some one sends you more than that, give them hearts.

Please write your partner a little note.

I'll be checking profiles so flakers need not sign up. I take flaking very seriously and will ban any one that even looks close to a flaker. Newbies are welcome, I know we all need to start somewhere but please have your profiles filled out with some info about you, your tastes and preferences.

I'm a newbie and I have lots of stickers and stationery for this swap!! I would love to be involved!!

Well don't be afraid to join the swap and try it out Peanutbutterhino. Your profile is filled out well.

Should this say "new" stickers as opposed to "open, unused" sheets?

Syn1226 04/29/2010 #

What I meant to say was shouldn't they be NEW and not have your partner send open, unused stickers? Also, can we say in the comment section what NOT to send, like Disney, Kawaii, if we don't prefer those?

Is this sender's choice? Because when people start demanding a certain type/style that's when there are always problems with people "not liking" the stuff you send, know what I mean?

kallie1978 04/29/2010 #

Hi all, you can send any stickers you want with the exception of the ones I listed above. Too me, "used stickers" are ones that you have previously stuck to something - we wouldn't want to send those to some one else.

You don't need to go out and buy stickers for this swap unless you want/need to. You can send stickers, sheets or loose, that you already own, if you want to.

As for preferences, it would be nice if you read the profile of the person you are sending to and checked out what they like/dislike and sent them something along those lines but I'm not requiring it. All you are required to do for a 5 rating is send 30 stickers, 2 stationary sheets and an envie.

does the cute printer paper work as a stationary? that's all i can find here where i am. and for the envelopes can they be standard or do they need to match the stationary?

kallie1978 04/30/2010 #

sorry gagirl828 - no printer paper. But stationary is pretty easy to come buy. Where I live, Barnes&Noble, Hallmark, Rite Aid, Safeway, Walgreens, even the secondhand stores usually sell it. The envelopes don't have to match.

thanks kallie. i forgot about drug stores carrying them. i used to find them at the dollar stores in notebook size or writing tablet size. living in a small town we dont carry as much as we used to.

I have a suggestion -- if you don't like what you get but it meets "requirements", give them a 5, put the stuff in a box specifically labeled for SB, and send it to someone else in another swap. Voila! Problem solved!
