Description:

OK, here we go! For this swap you will be taking pictures of the items listed below. You can print on photo paper or not, whatever will work best for your project. After taking the required pictures (or more if you choose to) you will put them together into some kind of album. That can take any form you choose (scrapbook, album, a bunch of pages staples together...), something that will be fun for your partner to flip through. If you want to add captions to explain why or how you took the picture you did that's fine. Let's keep this fun for everyone, experienced and newbie photographers alike, and rate based on effort and creativity, not on extras or how large the project is. International because it's more fun to have everybody involved, if you are worried about postage keep it simple. Now for the list of required photos!

1- a wild bird

2- a wild animal

3- a domestic animal

4- a mode of transportation

5- local scenery

6- a cool piece of architecture

7- an antique (the doors really open there...)

8- food

9- a craft you've made that you're really proud of

10- a craft you've made that you're not so proud of

11- a local, independent business

12- a person doing something other than just sitting there (that you have permission to photograph)

13- a flower

14- a flag

15- photographers choice

16- something happy

These are pretty open to interpretation by design. Take photos of what you think they mean, don't worry about what I mean. Have fun and stretch them little grey cells!

I'll check everybody out prior to assigning partners and will PM if I have questions. If you flake you will incur queenly wrath and be banished from the Empire. Let me know if I missed something!

can we use photos we've taken earlier in the year...or must all be taken during the swap timeframe?

sweetypiedie 04/30/2010 #

The above question is one I would like to know also.

Can the 'wild' animals be in zoos or animal parks?

nmterrier 04/30/2010 #

I guess it doesn't really matter what photos you use, depends on whether you want an excuse to go take photos! And The "wild" animals can be whatever you interpret it to be, like the rest of it. I want people to be able to have alot of freedom with this. That help?

sweetypiedie 05/ 1/2010 #

Yes it does, thank you. :)

Yes, that clears it up...thanks!

So my parrot in a cage bites. I think he is wild. He loves my husband. So can I use him as the wild arz animal?

Kelkat60 05/ 3/2010 #

Oh, RyeRye, that's too funny because I was going to ask if my kids fighting counted as wild animals

RyeRye 05/ 5/2010 #

LOL! They so are! That would be funny. It does say open to interpretation.....

nmterrier 05/ 5/2010 #

Yes, yes, yes to all above! Wild animal is definitely open to interpretation, put why you chose what you did in a caption, that would be great!
