Hey Misfits!! Wanna try a Make-Over Swap!

I love learning new crafts and new techniques. I am fascinated how people can come up with such amazing ideas using the same stuff as me! We all like being crafty, so let's show off our style!

This swap could be a great way to see how others use their awesome creativity, and what other creative minds come up with. It might inspire you to learn or try a new technique you have always been curious about. Do you remember when someone would start a story? Then it would pass to the next person to add to it, and each person had a part in making the story amazing! Lets do the same thing with a swap....Let's start a project, but don't finish it. Send it to your partner and they will add their own creativity, finish it for you and then return it. NO rules, no restrictions, other than be tasteful, and do make sure you check their dislikes...if they hate pink, choose another color.

Each person will start 1 item. Either an ATC, matchbox, bookmark, card, or other paper craft. Start it in your style, your favorite colors, then send it to your partner, they will finish your item and send it back. You can see what their creativity did with your starting creation. It could be something you never even thought to do. It may turn out awesome, or you may not like it. But it’s the time, effort and creative genius we are appreciating. I am pretty sure back in the day, Van Gogh was not considered a artist genius, but everyone knows him now!

The item may not come back how you expected, but that is the point! Let's mix it up and see what we get!! Please remember that each and every person is unique and has a different style, so if you are not willing to send out your item to get a make over, please don't join. You will have one partner for this swap. Once you get the item please finish it and return it to your partner within 1 week. DON"T forget to include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope in with your swap so you can get your card back! That way the partner doesn't have to pay the stamp to send it back!! Just pop it in the mail! It makes it easier on them!! Thanks:))

I am very excited, this just sounds like fun to me! I have only done one matchbox before, and I just started ATC’s, so I am very excited to see how others creativity could inspire me!!

Please remember, that each person here is expecting a nice return on their item. Do take some time, don’t just add a single sticker and call it done. We want to see how creative you are, not how lazy you are:))

Copy and paste the link below for a free match box template!!

If this swap is successful we can make it longer, so it has more creative stops along the way, but let’s start with one! Happy swapping!!

Just a quick note, if anyone in the group flakes on this swap, they will not be allowed to do group swaps in the future.

I am also adding that each participant needs to put a self addressed stamped envelope in with their swap, that way the partner doesn't have to pay the stamp to send it back!! Make it easier on them!! Thanks:))

Ok...don't forget..send your swap to get a makeover, include a SASE and send it out by June 4th...when you have recieved your partners swap, rate as you would a normal swap, 5's..and a heart if you like...and then finish your partners swap and return it to them with in 1 week...we all will get our project made-over by someone else!! I hope it goes as smoothly as I expect it will!!
