Description:

This swap is more like a game then a normal swap.

So, who wants to play postcard poker?!

Here's what ya do:

Get two postcards. ( Can be store bought or hand made. These cards are SENDERS CHOICE. Please do not comment as "I would like this type of card" )

Get a deck of cards.

Take out 4 cards from the deck. Four totally random cards.

On the back of ONE postcard, you are going to write a short message to your partner. You will also write the four cards you picked out ( number and suit ie 3s , 6c , Kh, 2d. [s=spades, c=clubs, h=hearts, d=diamonds ] ) This will be 4 out of 5 cards for your partners hand of poker.

Send your postcard in a TIMELY fashion, as this is a game, not just a swap, they depend on getting your postcard!

Once you get your postcard, message me the FOUR CARDS you were assigned.

When you message me with your hand, I will message you back with your 5th card to finish your hand.

I will write down your hand here with me to keep track of who has what.

Once the winner is determined, we will send them their prize... Which is the second postcard we all have.

I will email everyone with the winners address, and you will send out their postcard asap.

** in the event of a split pot, the group will be divided and each group will get a different address. So if there are two winners, half of you will send to one winner and the other half to the other. **

IF you have not gotten your postcard by the end of the swap, PLEASE message me. I will randomly draw 4 cards for you, and that will be your hand. But, I hope this does NOT happen, as everyone should be able to send two postcards. If you can not, please do not join.

please note: *I will be playing along too. My cards will be as random as yours, as I have a partner picking my first 4 cards and the 5th card is also chosen randomly. There is as much a chance of me winning as there is you. Please understand that before joining. I've had some issues with that in past Postcard Poker swaps. *

The rules:

Newbies allowed with a fully filled out profile. You MUST have at least three non-email swaps done and rated.

ABSOLUTELY NO 1's or 3's in the last 6 months! I do not want to take the chance of someone not getting their hand.

IF you don't think your postcard will make it to your partner on time, message me with your partners name and the cards you wrote on the postcard, and I will contact them.

Please message me with ANY questions that you have.

Again:

* two postcards.
* one goes to partner with short message and 4 cards.
* one goes to winner.
* message me with 4 cards when receive.

I had so much fun hosting/playing the first two and I saw it while looking at my "hosted swaps" page today.. I just had to rehost it and give someone else a chance to win a ton of postcards!

Almost done , everyone! Im still waiting for two girls to message me and confirm their hands. I have messaged both of them to ask them for their hands since they've both rated their partners. Sometimes people overlook things and it's understandable. Hopefully in the next few days you will all be getting an email letting you know who has won! =]
