All that Sparkles ATC International Swap

Hi girls, this is the first time I have joined a swap, or made an ATC, this should be fun. I am experienced in scrapbooking, so hopefully I'll do ok at this! Anyway if there is anything anyone thinks I ought to know please tell me. Thank you, Jen.

Hi Jenna,

ATCs are a standard 2.5" x 3.5" but other than that any technique goes...drawing, collage, painting, fabric, etc. Just make sure they are not too think/bulky.

This is my first time making ATCs. I understand the standard size constraints, but I wonder what might be considered too thick. What is too bulky for an ATC?

Now call me stupid... but there's nothing anywhere for me to click on "assign partners"!!! Apparently it will do it for me in three days if I still can't find it... can anyone help? lol

ANYONE SENDING ATC'S TO THE UK OR RECEIVING FROM THE UK, PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT FOR THE PAST WEEK THERE HAS BEEN A POSTAL STRIKE, THERE MAY ALSO BE ON NEXT WEEK AS WELL.

Hi Jess. Your problem is probably sorted out now, but I don't think there's a thickness restraint. Mind you, I do tend to make mine so that they will still fit inside the little plastic pockets ok.

Hey Roz. Thanks for answering. This is my first time with ATCs and I've never used the plastic pockets...I'm assuming they are the same kind of pockets that are used for sports trading cards. Anyway, I just made mine flat.

haha omg - I thought it was only 1 atc to each partner so I made 3 - anyway reading it now it says 2 for each - glad I made extra's! haha

Thank you Kellypuffs for the gorgeous sparkle atc's!! They're great. I wish I could make atc's like you - made from imagination if you get what I mean. I always tend to use actual pictures that mean what the swap is... am I talking sense as usual???? lol Anyway... I'm about to upload the picture of your atc's in the gallery, thanks again!!

Hi again Jess. I half meant the pockets that you're talking about, that's what I store mine in, but I also meant the little atc sleeves that you can buy to put them in. I get mine from Ebay, cheap.

Now that I've received some ATCs, I see what the sleeves are. I'm going to have to get some as I haven't been using anything to protect the cards I've made. Thanks Roz.

I hope you all enjoyed the swap. We have three that didn't send, two of those have left, but one of those people say they will send, and I'm just waiting on a reply from another one. Other than that, it was pretty good.
