Another great suggestion from one of the emails in response to my requet for ideas on what kinds of swaps this group might like.

I know there are many places that have some wonderful areas of California that produce wines, fruits, nuts, etc. I'm not asking for you to ship large containers, but something small that your area makes, produces, or is a popular food dish (ethnic or not) from your area. Think of wine products, fruits, nuts, tea, chocolate and jelly bellies come to mind.

Price Range: Not over $6.00 to purchase your edible. (edited to detail price).

Nothing perishable, like fresh fruits, of course. Dried fruits will last and ship better.

I already have something in mind for my area. I hope you think about this and join.

What do you mean nothing perishable? You mention fruits, but that's perishable. My area is known for their dates, they're dried but they are perishable if you leave them forever? I guess I'll just watch for now and see if I think of something else.

What kind of price range is it supposed to be?

By perishable, I meant fresh fruits that last only a few days. This is the first time I've ever done a food swap.

Price range. I haven't gone shopping myself. I would say not more than $6.00 to purchase.

Sorry I didn't check this sooner. I have been extremely busy, but will check this at least once a day.
