Homemade Bookmark Swap #5 !!

I just found a site that explained how to make a fabric bookmark (I'm a quilter, so I have LOTS of fabric lying around!) Might give this one a try!!

I might could do multiple partners. It depends on the time I have from assigning partners to ship date. I like to make the bookmarks based on something from my partner's profile.

Can newbies join? And how do you set up a profile? I love to make bookmarks but haven't done it in awhile.

I actually really like the swaps that only involve having one partner. I know I can commit with no reservations. Multiple bookmarks wouldn't be too difficult for maybe 2 or 3 partners, but I don't like to stretch myself too thin. I like to put time and thought into one thing to make it really great. I do definitely want to see more US bookmark swaps!!!! They're so fun to make!

I wanted to join this swap! I used to x-stitch bookmarks and I've found my patterns but can't find my floss. Darn. I'll try to buy some tomorrow but if not I'll join the next one. p.s. I've looked in "help" and can't find how to fill out a profile. Can anyone tell me where to look?

At the top of the screen,hover over profile, and the option "edit profile" will appear. Click, and from there it will take you to the edit screen. If you look above your basic account information, there is a list of links (Basic..Address..Personal...Picture...etc). These are like tabs that you can click on to edit your profile. :)

I would have liked to join. But things got too much for me today.

I was going to crochet a bookmark. So maybe if there is another swap later on, I can join.

Now saying that does not mean I will crochet the next one. I have some other bookmarks to be making soon.

If you host a swap that says send two bookmarks to one partner, that would be fine with me, as long as it's specified that each bookmark should be different (& perhaps give us a little extra time). On the other hand, if it's a swap for two different people (one to each), then we may as well leave it as it is, since this swap comes around every so many weeks (less stress that way, don't you think?). I really enjoy this swap; thank you for continuing it!

I like having one partner for handmade items as it lets me concentrate on making something pleasing. But I'd probably still join if there were two for this swap.
