Description:
This is a swap for an altered halloween inspiration box. You will take a box, approximately the size of a cigar box. It does not have to be a cigar box, but it should be approx. 6x7 inches and perhaps 2-3 inches deep. It should have a lid that closes. It can be round, oval, rectangle, any shape as long as the volume of the box would be consistent with the above measurements.It can be made of wood, chipboard, paper mache or cardboard. You will decorate/alter the exterior of the box, and fill the interior with some halloween inspiration for your partner. The operative word here being FILL. You should include a nice variety of items, some ideas of things to include would be: vintage/halloween images, decorative paper, tickets, game pieces, stickers, buttons, flowers, cabochons, beads, pumpkins, bats, skelatons, spiders, zombies, cemetary, graveyard, ribbons, trims, tulle, punches, embellishments, etc. Have fun, make this something your partner will LOVE. You will have 3 weeks to make and fill your box after partners are asigned, but you can start working on it now! It is nice if you can tailor to your partner, but this is senders choice as we already have a theme, Halloween! All group rules apply, I will still check profiles before assigning partners to weed out flakers. NO FLAKERS. I found this lovely image on Flickr

Just to get clarification, you mean the inside of the box will hold loose items for the receiver to use for their Halloween decorations and projects, right? ...Not items permanently attached to the inside of the box as an assemblage? I'm in either way, I just want to make sure I don't send the wrong thing. :) THANKS so much for hosting this fun swap!!!

Yes the box should be filled with items for the reciever to use in their own projects not permanently attached to the inside. I see that there are several watchers, if there is enough interest in this for both international and domestic, I would be happy to host it both ways. I would need some feedback from people. If there is no international interest then I can change the swap to domestic only. If there is international interest, I would be happy to host it as well :o) So Let me know! Thanks, Christopherpines. If you do have a U.S only one, I will gladly join. I hate to be that way, but it is tough to stretch $1400 a month to include high postage. ;)

I've (mostly) finished one box, too. I'm in two swaps for filled Halloween boxes. The first box is on my Flickr if anyone wants to look.
