Is handmade O.K. or must it be store bought?

Handmade is great IF your parnter likes them (they will say on their profile usually, i LOVE them!!!!) :-) Just rembmer it is a good idea to use clear tape to cover the card when mailing overseas especially!

I love map cards. They can be in an envie or naked. It is up to the sender. I like to get a note saying where you are from and information about the card.

Hello, I'm new :) I love the idea of all these post card swaps I have seen. But they all exclude 'newbies' for the most part :( I am curious; how do you get a partner? How does one get started in the swapping? Any help would be lovely. Thank you :) xxx

TreuesLiebesHerz: look for swaps that are title for newbies (I have some listed just for newis too now), also read the swap guidelines for joining they will say if newbies are allowed too. I usually not only put it in my titles, but in the swap guidelines too just to make it clear.

You have to work at getting your ratins up, it dosnt take long, it only took us about 2-3 months. Just make sure to NOT flake anyone over is all. NOONE likesa flakker.

As for newbies, I read EVERYONE who participates profile and BAN users that seem iffy, I do not support flakers! A newbie who PM's me, does an email swap successfully, has a great profile and links to other sites is WELCOME if I can KNOW they are trustworthy :-)

I also look for last online, comments, # of swaps in.... so we rearely have a problem and then I will Angel because it is MY responsibility to keep out flakers!

you will need to read your partners profiles to see if they prefer them naked or envie! :-) sometimes they also list it in these comments. personally i love naked!

NO FLAKERS!!!!! Don't forget I will be looking at all profiles and lists so don't worry if you see someone you are afraid to swap with, they will be BANNED! (Plus I will Angel if somebody falls through after my screening process!)
