A Reason to Buy That Amigurumi Pattern

I am always stumbling across super cute patterns for Amigurumi, but I can't think of a good reason to buy it. I finally found an excuse...

For this swap you are to purchase a single Amigurumi pattern or Amigurumi book and create something for your partner. You should spend about $3-$6 on a single pattern, more on a book. You have to create something using your purchase and include a picture/photocopy of what the pattern should have created. DO NOT SEND YOUR PARTNER THE PATTERN!!! That violates all sorts of copywrite issues and is just rude to the pattern creator.

You do not have to follow the pattern exactly, but mention any significant modifications (ex. I recently got a super cute pattern for a horse, but when I was putting it together I realized that it looked much more like a deer. Though a very cute deer, I might add.)

This is open to crochet and knitted Amigurumi. I am also opening this to newbies, as it is hard to find an Amigurumi swap to get that rating going. I'm also giving lots of work time for this swap, so use your time wisely.

I don't want to put a size restriction on the Amis, but you know if you are making one too small or too simplistic. If you wouldn't want to receive it, don't send it to someone else.
