This swap is for those of us who want to participate in YooperHill's 25 Days of Christmas swap (http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/6817) but don't have enough ratings. Directions from the original swap: Fill a package with 25 small, wrapped gifts. Your partner will open a gift a day leading up to Christmas! You can number the gifts 1 through 24, or leave it a random luck of the draw, but please make sure the gift to be opened on christmas is special and identified as "christmas day." We did this swap last year and it was soooo fun. All items must be new or like new (unless they are vintage,) and in good condition. No dirty, "clean out your stash" types of items please! Handmade is always appreciated! I am making it US only so we can be assured the packages arrive before 12/1/07. Since this is a private swap, you will forever have bad Karma if you flake out. Don't flake! I will personally be vetting everyone before I assign the swap partners. Ideally I would like to see an average rating of 4.8 or better, with at least 5 ratings and a couple of hearts. No history of no sends. If I think you are questionable, I will give you a chance to explain before I drop you from the swap.

Booya! This is great for those of us with only a few (but all rave) reviews. It's about the quality not the quantity right ladies?

Are you going to restrict this at all, as far as needing at least one rating, perhaps needing a 5.0. I really want to participate in the other one, but without any restrictions, this seems risky.

this is great! i agree with amber tho....i'm a bit leery of the no restrictions deal, especially since so much will be invested in it! :)

I'm interested but thinking I'm concerned about the unclear standards. I know the other one has high restrictions and am bummed by it but also don't want to send and be disappointed.

Since this is a private swap, I am personally inviting people after checking out their profile. I am looking for hearts on sends and number of sends. Everyone signed up has at least 5 ratings with 3 or more hearts.

The people so far are me, a personal (irl) friend, one of her previous swap partners and Interfection. I have invited a few other people who I've swapped with, and a couple people who were interested in the other swap but will fall a little short of the swap requirements.

Out of curiosity, what kind of standards would you like to see? I was hesitant to put some kind of minimum, again because this swap is primarily by invitation only. Traoki is the only one of us without a decent number of hearts, but she's my friend IRL and I can personally vouch for her swap-worthiness lol

i'd be concerned with people with any history of no-sends....it sounds like you are doing a good job of screening tho.... i think i will most likely join this swap, it sounds great!
