Description:

It's nearly here: the spookiest time of the year, Halloween! Even if not all countries celebrate it with the same enthusiasm, it's still fun to share in the fun.

For this swap, you will be sending your partner 2 different non-edible lightweight items and 2 different edible goodies, spending a minimum of $4.

The non-edibles have to help your partner's home feel more like Halloween (ex. cupcake toppers, cake stencils, trick or treat bags, banners, napkins, spiderwebs, etc.) The edible treats can be salty or sweet; they just have to be Halloween themed.

For those countries where Halloween decorations and candies aren't available, or if you feel extra-crafty, you can send hand made items and decorated goodies. There are plenty of sites with ideas; here are but a few:

Swap Guidelines:

  • You will have 1 partner.
  • Send 2 non-edible Halloween themed items: They can be store-bought or handmade.
  • Send 2 edible Halloween item: They can be decorated to fit the spooky date or be store bought Halloween themed goodies.
  • Spend a minimum of $4 (U.S. dollars) on the entire swap.
  • Package your items appropriately. Glass items and fragile foods should be wrapped and boxed to prevent breakage. It's a good idea to use a plastic baggie for anything that can leak, melt, or tear open during shipping.
  • Please send items in their original, sealed packaging for health and customs reasons. Be sure to check expiration dates and only send in-date food items that will not expire before reaching your partner.
  • Send and rate on time. On the rare occasion that you may need to send a bit late, please contact your partner AND the swap coordinator before the swap deadline has passed.
