Description:

Sometimes i get discouraged by how expensive nice art supplies are...and that is usually about when i start drawing with whatever i find around the house. This usually includes Sharpie pens, Hi-Liter pens (highlighters) and colored markers. I really enjoyed making my art piece for the Halloween and Mushroom swaps, so lets do it again! This time the theme is UNDER WATER.

Make a drawing or art piece using sharpies (and highlighters or other markers too if you have them) that is "under water" themed. This could be a whole school of fish, a single fish, a mermaid, a shipwreck, a coral reef or some seaweed wafting in the current. At least postcard sized, preferably a bit bigger though (you could use a full sheet of computer paper or cardstock). Spend a little bit of time on making the piece look really good, around 1 hour of work (less or preferably, more), but DON'T spend any money on it...this should be a CHEAP swap. Try to use things from around the house and if possible don't spend any extra money on supplies.

No ratings lower than 4.5, although newbies are welcome. I will angel a drawing to anyone who is flaked on...but DON'T FLAKE cause that ain't cool, man.

The only rules are 1.) SHARPIE MARKER should feature prominently in this piece, 2.) Try not to spend any money (except, of course, on shipping), and 3.) Make your drawing UNDER WATER themed!

The first thing to enter my mind was that you have to do the drawing underwater. Which I thought was pretty cool because if any marker could, it'd be a Sharpie! :D

Are there any dimension requirements?

At LEAST postcard sized.

So about 4x6 inches minimum. I've been doing a whole sheet of computer paper sized (8.5x11 inch) cardstock for these swaps myself.

Whiskey: Ha ha like underwater basket weaving? ;D
