Mori Girls (森ガール) is a subculture in japan. Mori meaning “Forest” in Japanese. Unlike the popular fashion trend that accentuate feminine curves, Mori girls favor loose-fitting clothes, vintage prints and quaint accessories. They love the comfort of natural materials, and there is softness and warmth in the styles they seek.

For this swap we will find our partner an article of clothing that reflects Mori girl style AND an accessory. They can be handmade, storebought or thrifted.

Think: Florals, warm, forest colours such as olive green and purple, cream, browns, musky pink and yellow, nature, linen.

Ideas of what to send: Shawls, a tote, blouses, dresses, leggings, leg warmers, skirts, hats, scarves, mittens, headbands, rings, necklaces, ect.
