Book Thongs - International

There's a USA only version of this swap going on so I decided to start an international version for the rest of us!

I love to read and just participated in a bookmark swap. They're cool and practical but thongs are it! They look like jewelry, with a long thin part (cord etc) marking the page and beads/embellishments dangling out either end. I have seen them at Borders selling for a small fortune! But they don't have to cost the earth!

They are really simple to make: Take your cord, make sure it's long enough to fit through a book, tie a knot at one end, thread a few beads etc and make a knot above the last one. Repeat at other end of the cord and thats a book thong.

The variety of beads available now is endless, or you add a charm. Try personalise it to your swap partners profile.

We will have one partner and make them one thong but make another one if you want a heart!
