Valentine Card & Mail Art Show & Swap

For this swap you will make two (2) handmade Valentine's cards with decorated envelopes. The artwork media and content is sender's choice, but it should be appropriate to Valentine's day. That said, I know there are older, more pagan takes on Valentine's day and those are fine as well. Since it is senders choice in media and content, you can start now and make something really beautiful that you would like to receive and that you would be proud to display in public.

One will be sent to your assigned Swap-bot partner, the other to Clay Paper Scissors Gallery & Studio (address below). Clay Paper Scissors Gallery & Studio, in Cheyenne WY, is a place where artists can rent studio space, and a gallery showing primarily contemporary art. I co-own it with my friend. All cards/envelopes received at Clay Paper Scissors will be displayed in our middle gallery space during the month of February.

In return you will recieve a card and decorated envelope from your Swap-bot partner, a show postcard from Clay Paper Scissors and your artwork will be shown in the Gallery.

I can get your address your mailing address from the Swap-bot participants list - but it would be helpful if you included it on the card to the Gallery too. If you are a crafter/artist selling your work, feel free to paste your business card inside the card. Maybe someone will love your work and want to see/purchase more of it Show postcards will be sent out in February, on reciept of your work. For the postcard to your Swap-bot partner, please write a nice Valentine's message inside.
