What is Origami? ( (折り紙 origami?) Derived from "ori" meaning "to fold", and "kami", meaning paper is the ancient Japanese art of paper folding. The goal of this art is to create a given result using geometric folds and crease patterns. "Origami" refers to all types of paper folding, even those of non-Asian origin.

Any questions please feel free to ask me because this is the first time I'm doing this. I'm looking forward to this. Cheers, Stephanie (solarts)

This is a lovely idea. I don't celebrate Christmas, but do love things to hang, and winter colors, like blue/silver.

Yes, Three origami to one partner. It's optional if you want to add more to send. If you want to use Washi paper go ahead. It's up to you. Just as long it's holiday looking pretty paper. cheers, Stephanie (solarts).

p.s. Thanks for the sweet comments, and thanks for signing up. I tried making the swap instructions into paragraphs so it's easier to read. My computer or the site won't let me.

Does it have to be origami paper as I've been folding for over 20 years and I don't always use origami paper, gift wrap and specialist craft paper is also very good. here's a card I made/taught last year which has very simple designs if you want any help/ideas let me know I as I many origami books/diagrams which I can share for personal use. http://www.flickr.com/photos/origami4you/317244014/in/set-72157594439356249/
