For all you coffee snobs! :) For this swap, send one bag of coffee from a local small batch roastery to your partner. You can send either whole bean or ground (though we all know that whole bean is superior!) I'm pretty excited about this swap, because Baltimore has some great coffee that I want to share! I will be angeling, so please let me know if any problems arise.

Does it have to be a particular amount? 8 oz? 1 lb?? Thanks.

I didn't really have a particular amount in mind...so I'll just say at least a half pound. The kind I'm planning to get only comes in 1 lb bags so that's how much I will end up sending.

Would it be okay to join and request ground instead of whole bean? (Personally, I don't drink coffee, but my mother and brother do, however.. they don't have a coffee grinder. So.. I'd likely be joining for them and sending coffee from my area.)

Also, given the price of most bags of local roasters (usually $10 or more) + the price of shipping something so heavy.. I'm going to have to say I'm a little wary of joining a swap like this that would allow unrated users to join. It's a little risky, imo.

Looove the swap idea though... =x

@robotlove - I think that would be fine.

I'm angeling, so someone will get something no matter what.

(But please, no one flake, because like @robotlove said, good coffee is expensive!) :(
