Description:
Movie scores can be magical, enchanting, and just plain fun to listen to. It's also interesting to see what scores other people like to listen to. For this swap pick a few of your favorite movie scores (Let's say 1-3) and write a letter to your partner about why you it's your favorite. Letters should be at least one full page. Be sure to include the title of the movie and the composer of the score. Things to think about: 1) Is there a certain track or part of score that you like better than the rest? 2) How does it make you feel when you listen to it? 3) Is the movie a favorite? 4) Why someone else should check out this score. 5) Feel free to include a CD of some of the music you're talking about. It is not required, but you can if you wish. 6) Please no recent 1s or 3s. Unrated swappers welcome with a well filled out profile.

Does a great movie soundtrack also count, or are we just talking about a John Williams-type instrumental score??

I'd perfer it be a John Williams type of thing. I guess it would be okay to include a regular soundtrack as long as you had one or two instrumental scores along with it. I wanted it be more of an instrumental thing, but you can add other soundtracks as long as there is an instrumental score included.

No worries, @knitandlitgirl . I LOVE John Williams music (just look at my profile), but there are one or two others that have charmed me enough to write about them.

I'm a big John Williams fan too. It was actually some of his music that inspired this swap. It's cool if you want to write about a few different John Williams' scores. Different movies can create different feelings and emotions and everything.

That's okay. Making a CD is not required - just a suggestion. Please do not feel like you have to include a CD with your letter.
