Show us Your Craft Space!

We all have some space where we craft. Whether it's the kitchen table or a corner, a closet or a room, a studio or a loft; we want to see it! Messy or clean is up to you; take at least 10 photos. 5 should show inside your drawers, boxes, cupboards or your favourite organizing containers. Include where to purchase if possible.

Email your photos or a link to a blog or photo sharing site with these photos only. No one wants to search all your photos to find these so make a new section or folder or be sure these show up at the very top.Please be sure your photos are bright enough to be easily viewed so edit if necessary.

Include a caption sentence or two with each photo. The write 3-4 paragrahs including some or all of the answers to the following. The story of how this got to be your space. Did you move in and plant your flag straight away? Have to negotiate for it? Sneak in quietly and take it over?? Why did you decorate it how you have? Is it a showy space or a work space where you cram in all the stuff you can? Do you tidy everyday or every session? Organize, spring clean or purge sometimes? How often? What would your ideal space include if you could reno/decorate it? Don't describe your dream space elsewhere. What would you do in this house/apt? If you'd move to another room, take a pic to show us where! Find a paint swatch or other colour sample online to show us what you are thinking of. Do the same for lighting, rugs/flooring, decor items, tables, chairs, storage etc. Find photos of other craft rooms online. What would you keep for your room, what would you pass over and where would you put it? If you've ever taken pictures before, show us the old vs how it looks now!

Basically, we want at least 3 or 4 decent paragraphs of detail in addition to the photographs. If you use a photo sharing site and are limited to a small amount of descriptive space, number your photos and include matching info in your email. This is not ideal though as your partner will have to click back and forth between pages so please make sure it is easy to follow.

Consider hearts for lots of written detail, great photos or lots of links.

Summary of Minimum Requirements****** **10 photos, minimum 5 closeups and 5 room shots. May include how room looked before and/or 1 photo of where you'd locate the room if you had your pick. Please include at least 8 of your current room. **A caption for each photo. **Total of 3-4 paragraphs which excludes captions. You may answer 1 or all of the questions asked.

Please have a 4.95+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me ahead of the sign up deadline. Newbies are welcome with WELL FILLED out profiles (About Me, Likes, Dislikes at least) and MUST PM me at least 3 days before the end of the swap to show good intentions. A newbie is someone with less than 5 completed and rated type 2 or 3 swaps. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out. If you are really worried, give me a heads up! I’ve only been a member since March and been flaked on so many times, I've stopped keeping track, so I get it!
