Great, now everybody is going to see how much of a freaking nut I am on this darn site. my latest addictions, twitter, scrabulous and swap-bot.

I'm kinda confused as to how this is going to work. Can we list the details here? I noticed some folks have what looks like it could be $5 next to their name and others have nothing. Help.

Dayngr the 5 next to people's names is their rating as a swap partner. Once you receive your swap package you get to rate the person who had your name. Not really sure if there is some sort of scale out there somewhere but 5 is good. :-)

swap noob here -- have no earthly idea how this works. How do we get matched w/ a recipient? Coz I'm sure everybody is just dying for me to be the one to pick their name and send a gift. I'm known for my shopping savvy. laughing up my sleeve

I think you will get an email that your swap partner has been assigned. I think you have to log into here to see the person's address. It's best to keep this top secret as to who your partner is. I have an anonymous mail account that I use for torture---reminder I need to set that up..I can see some anonymous twitter accounts working too.

Looking at the names on this list, I have everyone's twitter name, so you if you get a newbie that you don't know I can help you with the stalking process.

Hmm... it's the 10th and the swap-bot fairy hasn't revealed my match yet.

I'm feeling particularly blond here having never been to a swap meet before, either live or online. I'm counting on it all being made clear at the proper time.

So are there any rules about dollar amounts? Are we just doing anything fun/gag gift type thing? I think I'm going to get hooked. I'm a swapbot newbe, but I can already see it coming.

Woke up at 5 a.m. this morning with a running list of to-do's...one of which was to figure out my swap gift. Early morning swap bot stress! :)

I got my gift today. Poor FedEx guy was the one who TRULY got the gag gift by having to see me just as i was getting ready to go shower. Bedhead and all! hehe. Nope... wasn't a gag gift but I am entirely delighted by it! Thank you BarbaraKB. I will take pics later... have to run now. Let's see if I can keep it alive...lol

Oh-oh...I was just about to say that my swap gift is on the way today, when I noticed that the person I was supposed to send it to has already apparently received something. I will check with AnnOhio before sending. Good thing I looked here first, and I'm sorry to be late.
