Last day to signup/drop:October 1, 2006
Date items must be sent by:October 21, 2006
Number of swap partners:1
Description:

For all of you musical swappers out there, I thought it would be fun to receive some sheet music in the mail. For this swap, you will have one partner, and send them one piece of sheet music. This swap is open to international swappers, but no one with a rating below 4.00 will be allowed to participate. I will check.

Once you sign up for this swap, please leave a comment in the discussion below containing your name and what instrument you would like the sheet music to be for, as well as any preferences (ex. NO JAZZ, or prefers romantic classical). Once you receive your partner, check the discussion to find their comment and see what type of music you will send them.

Example Comment: Dottie Dip - flute music, anything except polka.

If you have to buy the sheet music (if your partner plays the trumpet and you only have piano music on hand) try to keep the cost low, without sacrificing quality; I don't want people sending really cool 20's swing music and getting your 8-year old piano student's copy of "Silent Night" in return. There is no minimum or maximum value, and keep in mind that you will need to ship the music flat (manila envelopes are wonderful).

Have fun and enjoy your new music!

(Just a thought, I've done swaps like this before where once you've mastered your new music you make a recording of yourself playing it and send that to the person who sent the music to you. You don't have to do this, but it could be a fun extra thing!)

Cant wait for this one. :) I play many instruments, so I'll just list them all, but you can pick which ever one you'd like. The ones I beleive I would enjoy more are the flute and Alto Sax, but the choice is up to you. Thanks a bunch!

Alto Flute and wouldn't mind ANY kind of music, just not at a beginer level please.

Alto Saxaphone, just starting this yeah so anything would be great. Thank you. :)

Teaching myself the electric guitar, so beginer music would be great. {if tabs}

Piano would also be fine at a begining level, for I am also teaching myself how to play the Piano.

I'm able to play the trumpet, but on low notes so anything low would also be much help.

Thank you so very much. :) I will do my very best to answer any questions, and to gather as much music that I can for your instrument(s). :)

haha, I started this swap and forgot to post my instruments and musical tastes

I play flute, piccolo, and piano. Please nothing at beginner level, although if you have any beginner guitar music lying around I've been contemplating picking up an acoustic guitar and forcing my friend to give me lessons in exchange for cookies (because I can't afford "real" lessons)that would be uber-cool too.

Any style of music is cool with me, but I especially like 1920's era music.

Any questions about my tastes/instruments or the swap itself, email me of leave it in a comment, I'll check back and make sure I answer them.

Thanks!!

Do you mind if I photocopy it out of a book? I have LOADS of music books for the flute. (Intermediate level). From Disney, to best of the 70s, if you want you can even pick the book. :)

Alright, I sent my package today, but because it's Canadien Thanksgiving tomarrow, and there's no post on the weekend, It might take a while. I sent you 2 or so of everything you wished, and then the Guitar Choards (once you start learning the guitar it will be very helpful. Unfortunatly, I couldn't find any real music for it). Hope you enjoy!
