My Daughter is always worrying me about not receiving mail. She would like to have a pen-pal friend to write to. I am creating this swap for her. Katelyn is 8 yrs old and loves art, writing, reading books, makeup, jewelry, music, justin beiber (sp), crafts, painting, ds games. These will be items she will be writing about. Does your daughter like some of these same things? Maybe we could have the girls to correspond and then they both can build upon the friendship. I will only allow swapper with a 5 rating to join in, it is not fair for my child to get her feelings hurt when no mail arrives.

I have a 9 year old son who would love a pen pal. He has a few (both girls) and such - but, they don't write too often. Can I join for him - (since he is not a girl) ? My son wouldn't mind writing a girl, if your daughter wouldn't mind writing a boy....

Hey Viv I am going to keep this one an all girls swap. I know my daughter is not into boys and would be all grossed out. I will look at trying an all boys swap. or a mixed swap after this one.

My daughter is 11 and loves sewing,fashion,performing arts, and hates Justin Bieber . She likes Glee ,Twilight , and loves to read YA books such as James Patterson and Darren Shan and Kelley Armstrong.

My daughter Bella is eight and she will be so excited. She LOVES writing letters. She writes them to her classmates all the time. It will be so cool for her to have a real pen pal.
