I love swapping big bags of surprises like this. I signed up. I have some medium size padded envies already (not the little ones, but not giant ones either). Unless it is just fbs/papers, I always go padded for this stuff.

On the seeds, can they be homegrown and harvested and mixed as a package?

@fawnscrafts I don't have a problem with you sending homegrown seeds, mixed in a little baggie, etc, as part of this swap. I would recommend labeling them...so whoever gets them will know what they are. :)

This is great! I have TONS of fun stuff to send! My sister always laughs at me and says she wants to "go shopping" in my craft room! I really need to "clean out" some stuff! So yay!!!! Looking forward to sharing! :-)

Haha fawnscrafts, YES you should send me HOMEGROWN SEEDS! As long as it's not something that needs cold times. It's too hot here for that. Anyway if it can grow in hot weather and sun or partial sun, I want it! :)

@MizzKodak ...this is a sender's choice swap, so you can send 1 item or 100, as long as the envelope is stuffed full and the item(s) you send are in good usable condition. You should NOT send any trash/broken/dirty items.

You know the post office has a padded FLAT RATE (9x12) envelope now and I think it's only $4.95 to send, no matter how heavy:) If it seals with no tape then it's only $4.95 to send. I recently sent my friend 3 jars of Golden paint and a bunch of other stuff that way. I'm not able to play this time, I hope this swap is posted again later in the summer. Sounds like fun:)

@RetroMom click on the swap name you want. In the upper right side is a yellow box that says things like Click here when sent, click here to view your partner, click here to rate your partner, etc. Click on the appropriate link when you have sent your package.

well...I think I am disappointed and I will to disappoint the partner I received with my rating. But I will be honest and rating fairly. First the person sent me an email on on the last day saying he/she forgot about the swap and was sending my package on the first business day after the 4th July holiday. So if we have a due date, and you don't send on time it was not on swap rules, right? Then I receive the package and I thought it was going to be USA Big Fat Stuffed Envelope Swap #10. When I received the envelope and I opened has only papers, and the rules on this swap is: "Please do not send scraps of memo paper/notebook/post-it type paper, etc. You may send the whole memo pad or notebook but scraps of note paper does not equal scrapbook papers.'

So I received pieces of papers, cut by hands or whatever, it was around 18 piece of scrap papers, some the person used pencil to make squares and cut, so was scratched with pencil, others just cut very tinny pieces and stamped. Ah I forgot tell about a rule, looks like a rule around 4 inches with some shape but it was dirt with I think play-do (not sure, but it was dirt.

Honestly, how can I rate this person? how fairly should I be?

I understand also here: "This is not a Profile swap, so please do not spend a lot of money shopping for profile surprises. This is more for you to send items that you have on hand, that are in good usable condition. This does not mean you can send your trash, send only items in good, usable condition. Please do not send items like, your used candy wrappers, or written on apt. card, etc."

That does not mean you will send all bunch of piece papers you cut by hands or using rule and send to someone. That is kind of sad you show the partner how responsible you are with you swaps sending a message on the last day saying you forgot about them, and then you send some piece papers you find in somewhere and cut, put in a envelope and pay $ 1.32 for the mail. I bet the mail was more expensive then what came in the envelope.

I should have read beenebags post earlier. the package I sent out cost over $7.00! THe p.o, of course, didn't let me in on that secret! Wondering how long it's going to take to get there? I sent it on the last day of June.

@Saturner I'm so sorry you are disappointed with your package. I would recommend doing two things in the future: a). always try to work with your partner first and b) secondly, you should contact the swap host directly and see if there is anything they can do. Thankfully, I am still checking this comments section, but many hosts may not chek it after the swap has closed and thus would have missed this. Sending you a PM.

Well it looks as though I'll be leaving my first LOW rating. I really don't want to rate my partner a 1!! I had hoped she would at least answer my PM.... sigh... don't know what else to do. This honestly makes me feel worse then being flaked on! :o(
