time for #2... same as before:-

I've noticed a few of us UK swappers have been getting stung by higher postage costs for airmail, or a lack of UK only swaps, so here's a low cost treat just for us! (I will in the future run a European and an international version when money isn't so tight!)

sorry if this swap has been run before, it is inspired by the US only thrift store swaps.

For this swap, which is very loosely profile based, you will go to a pound shop, or anywhere that you can buy items for less than a £1 brand new, and select something loosely based on your partner's profile.

for example: your partner is an avid pen-pal, so you would buy her/him a small letter set or pack of notecards

loves disney? you could buy them a pair of winnie the pooh socks

has children? you could buy them a craft activity to complete with their children or a child's toy

strapped for cash? a tin money box

ok, go! You would have 1 partner, minimum spend is £1 for item.

newbies welcome as I can personally angel this swap if somebody flakes, but no ratings below 4.9 or recent (past 3 months) unexplained 1's/3's. - If you do have bad ratings but I can see that you have tried to fix them, then I would still consider letting you in the swap.

if there is a singular item you would greatly dislike to receive (for me it's pencils and toiletries as I have bad reactions to some) please comment below so your partner may take this into consideration. This is only loosely profile based as it's highly unlikely that you would find something that is spot on in the pound shops (unless socks are on your wish list) so please rate a 5 when you receive a brand new item.
