Thrift Store Challenge

In this swap, you will have one partner. You will puchase an item at a thrift store or garage sale. The item must cost no more then $1.00. You will then turn that item in to something else, or turn something old into something usable. For instance, you could choose to purchase a sweater or other clothing and turn it in to a doll, stuffie, necklace, bag, etc or you could choose something like a candlestick and turn it into a doll, or just decoupage, paint or mosaic it into something that is nicer and now usable. An old box could become a purse, re-finished box, ATC holder or something as simple as a Book could be turned in to a purse, wall art, jewelry box, etc. So many choices and options. I hope you have fun with this. Please make items with quality and care.

It is not required for the swap (as I dont know how many people have access to a camera) but if you can, it would be nice to send a before and after photo to your partner.
