In a time where everyone and their grandmother has an Ipod or some other MP3 device, it only makes sense that we protect our precious portables from the elements with some rad Ipod cozies. For this swap, you will create (knit, crochet, sew, anything you like) 1 Ipod cozy for 1 partner, unless there is a desire to have more partners so that we can coordinate lots of cozies to our outfits and handbags. Since Apple puts out a new model every 10 minutes, you might want to either leave the dimensions/model of your ipod or other Mp3 device in the comments. If your partner does not do this, you should probably email them to get the dimensions so you don't make an Ipod Video sized cozy for someone who has an Ipod Nano. I have a creative zen 3.3 x 2 x 0.7 inches. I made a cover out of conventional felt but it has got a bit tatty. The zen is red (which is my favourite colour) but I love crazy/colourful things in general.

I have a Nano IPod and the measurements are approximately 2 inches by 4 inches. If you go to the IPod website it will give you exact measurements. I ride the train to work and love to put my Nano around my neck because I don't always have pockets. I was thinking about making myself one but this would be even better...sharing! I love patchwork the best, but my swap partner can do anything they feel comfortable.

I'm a classic pink metallic iPod mini kind of girl. It seems it's something like 2" x 4". (The current cozy I'm using is 2.5" x 4")

I was thinking about the size of the cozy and I realized that I have a nice leather cover that is cushioned, so I would like my cozy to be at least 3 x 4 1/2 inches only to be able to drop my whole Nano and case along with the earphones in when I am walking or on the train. Hope this is not confusing.

I have a regular, plain white, old version Ipod. The dimesions are 2.5" wide by 4" high.

I have an Ipod Video, dimensions are 2.5" wide x 4" long x 1/3" deep.

I have an iPod video and an iPod Photo. I think that they both have the same dimensions. I use the same cozy for both of them without a problem.

I have a super old skool Ipod (with a pixel display--rock on! I think it's a 2nd generation). The dimensions for it are 2.5 in. wide and 4 in. tall with a side depth of about 1/2 in. Hope that helps!

I have an iPod Mini, will check on the dimensions later... I mainly use it for running so use the belt clip (or would use a velcro type arm holder but don't have one) x
