Zentangle Doll

I originally ran a Zentangle Doll Bookmark swap last year in May in this group, then this year I allowed a former member to run a Zentangle Doll swap here. She has continued to run Zentangle doll swaps publicly, but I wanted to do another Zentangle doll swap within the confines of the group.

Take a look, or Google zentangles. The diversity of interpretations is enormous. You can see that there is a wide range of creatvity to be applied here. I don't care if you choose to do your zentangles in color, but that is NOT required. Your zentangle doll should be made on plain cardstock of any color. Just remember to do your best!

This will be a jointed doll. It can be a male, female, or gender neutral. You can draw your own original doll, or you can use an existing blank doll template. I just found the above template, and I'm going to use it. Fill in the doll's shape with your zentangle designs, photo copy it two times, then cut out and mount each one on stiffer backing to make the two dolls. By photocopying it, you will only have to zentangle one doll, and you get to keep your original! Then, you should embellish the dolls in some way by adding some hair or fibers of some kind and maybe some bling. The length should be somewhere between six to nine inches long.

No additional clothing or face is needed for this doll, but if you wish for it to look as if it has clothing or a face, you can zentangle it in as part of the design. Again, clothing is NOT a requirement. (Be tasteful here! This is not a naughty swap!)

Requirements:

Group member in good standing.

No unexplained three ratings.

One doll to each of two partners.
