I'm new to swapbot but have participated in basket weaving swaps also the Flirty Apron Swap (2 times), and an Easter Basket Swap. I was turned away from a recent swap because I didn't realize that I didn't have all my profile information in. Hopefully it's all good now.

Any requirements for dollar amount, size, color etc?

Saucyknits 07/ 2/2011 #

It looks cute -- thanks for the invite! I'm watching til I clear up a couple of swaps :)

@AubreyD the swap is for one bag made out of one FQ - It is up yo the Sender to decide on the color BUT it is always nice to send something your partner would like (so don't send Pink if your partner hates Pink) I did not set a $ amount because it depends how much a FQ costs where you live

This looks great... am going to watch the swap and have a little practice first... I got a little lost reading the tutorial... perhaps when kids and hubby aren't talking at me... ;-)

That looks amazing & fun! Thank you so much for comment linking me. I wish I could join, but I think it's a little beyond my sewing level. I'll practice on my own & if there's ever a second round, please let me know. Thanks again!

Probably a silly question- but are FQ's a standard size?

dmarie 07/ 6/2011 #

A fat quarter usually measures 18" x 22". If you took a half yard of fabric (18" x 44") and cut it in half again (lengthwise), you'd have a two fat quarters that measure (18" x 22"). It's half of a half yard of material.

Thanks, dmarie. I thought so - just wanted to be sure first.

Sorry I missed this. It looked good but I'm kind of postage-committed at the moment and couldn't afford another swap this month. If it runs again at a later date I'd love to join.

Oh...I missed the sign up date. Been away in the mountains camping with my family, had a really great time. Maybe I can get in another time. Loved the tutorial. I'm going to make one for my daughter for her B-day. Thanks for sharing. :)
