This is sort of a de-stash-with-a-twist ribbon swap. Hopefully it will work! The idea is for each of us to send a selection of ribbon to our partners that we don't want or need, or, ribbon that simply doesn't fit into our collection. In exchange, we'll each receive a selection of ribbon that we want or are looking for. After signing up for the swap, and before the swap sign-up deadline (August 14), please post in the comment section what colors, styles, etc. of ribbon you want to get rid of. Also, list the kinds of ribbon your looking for or would like to receive. We can't be guaranteed to receive exactly what we want because random partners are assigned, but the chances are good if you are as specific as possible. Try to list ribbon lengths as well! (i.e. "I have 20 pieces of 12" purple & blue ribbon." or "I collect vintage/antique-looking ribbon in any shade of white or cream.") I encourage partner communication once partners are assigned. Since we all have different wants/needs/tastes, I'm hoping it will work out for everyone. Ideally, we'll send ribbon we no longer want or need (de-stash) and that our partners want, so its not necessarily a "receiver's choice" swap. Listing preferences will help ensure everyone has an enjoyable swap experience! Guidelines: *Send at least 2 yards of ribbon to each* of your partners. Any lengths are okay as long as your partners know what they are receiving. Example: please don't send 24 pieces of 6" ribbon if they don't want any piece smaller than 12". List the colors, styles & lengths of ribbon you want to de-stash in the comments section below before August 14th. Try to give as many choices as possible so there's a better chance of sending something your partners want/need. List the colors, styles & lengths of ribbon you want or are hoping to receive** (in the same comment). Some people may be happy to get any new ribbon for their stash while others may be looking for more specific pieces for a project. Try to be specific yet flexible, and list several so your partners feel they can send something you want. For example, if you don't want/collect any floral ribbon, or if you don't want any pieces longer than 6", note that so your partners will know. If you have no preference & are happy with any ribbon, put "no preferences". I'm giving a couple weeks to sign up so that we have time to list preferences, etc. and then a week to send, since we should already have the ribbon on hand. If not many people sign up or anyone thinks 2 partners is too many, PM me or comment below. This is my 1st time trying a swap like this, so I'm open to suggestions/comments Feel free :) Usual group swap rules apply.

I can send: I have most styles/colors/prints that I'm willing to part with, so I don't mind requests by my partners! I can send pieces in any length from 6" to 24", so just let me know.

I'd like to receive: Almost any color/print is fine by me, except gold or white and PLEASE no holiday themed ribbon of any kind.

Please no words, kids prints, baby-themed or country themed.

I can send: I have a wide variety of colors/styles etc. I have a lot of different vintage laces. I can create a color package or theme package. Requests are good!! I'll do my best to fulfill them.

I'd like to receive: Of course anything vintage including lace and ribbon and trim. I really like neutrals, gray, and shabby chic colors. I don't really use cutesy ribbon. I'd really appreciate any length of 12 inches or over.

I can send: any theme except vintage looking ribbons. I can send in 1 yard of other color or themes, I have several that need a home that will use them faster than I buy them.

I'd like to receive: vintage, shabby chic, or anything not holiday themed. Willing and would to take those smallest pieces of scraps off your hands. 3", 4", or 5" no problem....I can put them to good use.

I can send: have a variety of different colors, no vintage, can send in 6 or 12 inch - let me know and i will see what i can do to accomodate.

I'd like to receive: construction themed (house renovations); gecho (spelling??) for a friend; baby theme, family, etc ok, anything else you want to get rid of --perfer 12 inch or longer as i use them in my scrapbooks!!! thanks!!!!!

I can send have lots of Pink, Red, Purple & Green - any length - have some other colours - except yellow & orange - have some vintage lace and fuzzy ribbon

I would like the spelling is geckos (CINDYAC) - good thing she is a close friend - southwest designs - cacti - red chili peppers and I need some yellow, peach and orange - any size or length for crafts or some pink velvet ribbon

I can send a large variety of different colors and 12 inches or even more and I also have some lace ribbons as well as Hello Kitty and many other colors in different colors and prints and sheer or cotton etc.

I would like to receive some vintage Ribbons, some printed sheers, shabby chic and anything else that you would like to get rid of as I am I really am very easy to please!! LOL :=)

I just really LOVE Vintage but really cannot find any of it where I live :=(

I can send lots of prints halloween christmas flowers dots any colors you like and solids in any colors also grosgrains

I would like to receive-- anything is fine love it all-- also particularly any black/white, peace signs, dance theme, pinks or disney
