Christmas, the season of giving, is coming and what better way to celebrate it than to give someone a wonderful gift that will blow them away even before they open the packaging!

This swap not only focuses on the things you send, but on the packaging as well. If you love receiving and sending pretty packages filled with lovely items, then this swap is for you!

You will have 1 partner that might be international (so please take this into consideration before you sign up). You will have 3 weeks to find items for your partner, wrap them up and mail them.

Your package should be worth US$10 (or more) before shipping. That means you can spend US$10 on gifts as well as packaging but please use your discretion. Don't spend more on packaging that on the gifts themselves.

If you own a shop, please do not just send US$10 worth of goods from your shop. However, do feel free to include an item or two in addition to the other goodies you will be getting your partner.

Some ideas of things you can include in your package: jewelry, scarves, pouches, bags, wallets, candles, bath items, note cards, notebooks, stickers, packaging supplies, stuffies, amigurumis, vintage goods, anything you think your partner would love to receive. You may want to check their profile and wishlists (etsy and the like) to get an idea of what they like. Please ensure that your profile is well-filled out! I will be checking!

Wrap the items up creatively, using your imagination. You need not wrap each item up individually but don't just dump everything into a box and tie a ribbon around it.

Once you've wrapped your items up, put your prettily dressed up packages into an envelope or box for shipping. Secure your package well so that they reach your partner safe and sound.

Requirements

1. You must be willing to send overseas. If you are unable to do so and would like to swap regionally instead, please feel free to start a regional swap! You may link it below for those who are looking to swap regionally as well (:

2. You must be able to send your package by 14 October 2011. The date is set pretty early so that your packages will not be delayed in the Christmas mailing season and reach your partner in time for Christmas.

3. You must have an overall rating of at least 4.9 with no no-sends or unexplained ratings of 3 and be actively participating in swaps during the past six months. If you feel that you have been unfairly rated, please contact me before signing up and I will decide on a case-by-case basis. You must also have completed at least 10 Type 3 swaps to qualify. I reserve the right to ban as I see fit.

4. Your package must be US$10 before shipping. We all like to receive quality products so send a package that you would like to receive!

5. And last but not least, have fun using your imagination and creativity!
