Well a handy dandy tote bag of course! :) My local library sells logoed tote bags in order to promote the library and help raise funds (see photo above). Does your local library do the same? If so, this swap is for YOU! Let's swap a Library Tote Bag & a Bookmark! If you would like to participate, you will be sending along one new library logo tote bag, purchased at your library & a bookmark. The whole point is to support your local library, after all. The bookmark could be a freebie that your library hands out or a handmade by you one or one that you wish to pass along. All bookmarks must be in new or like new condition, please. Let's help keep our libraries open! :)

I was so hoping this was going to be a swap for a library-specific tote bag, not just a personal tote bag we use for library books. I'm going to the library after lunch so I just might buy mine today. :D

NOVEL DESTINATIONS! woot! I work at a library and we are wrapping our adult reading program. Now, question about the tote-we don't have an actual library one. But instead we have a Friends of the Library one. Would that still count?

I would have joined already @lorepuckett but my tiny local library was all out of totes the last time I checked. (and I'm always checking 'cause I've been wanting to get my hand on one) I'll absolutely join if I'm able, like I said before, I love this swap idea. I hope lots of people join in

I love the library!! I am in a book club and we love to look at the list of books that our library has on their book club list. Perhaps if others have book club lists at their library they can throw it in with the bag and the bookmark! I love to see what others are reading! As Arthur (from the PBS television show) says, "Having fun isn't hard, when you've got a library card!"

Well, I bought two for my partner at my library today. The main one has the name of the council on it, not the library itself. I was shocked! I have some myself and never actually noticed. The other one is from the State Library in the city of Sydney, which should be really cool, but it's even less specific with a slogan that's barely a slogan, this sort of generic nod to librarydom. Boo!!

I wanted to participate ut our library is "out" of bags until they can get shipment in. They were not specific so, won't get it done :(

I need to be taken out of this swap! :( My library does not have any bags currently. My co-worker when to a library branch by my work for me and came back with a plastic bag! It was seventy-five cents! I even showed him a bag at our work that was exactly like what I was looking for! He'll never live that down! Sorry, but I hope everyone enjoys their bags!

/cry I'm like @chrissyort Our FOL decided not to restock our tote bags. So not fair. But I still have our bookmarks for some of our Adult Reading Programs if anyone would like a set :)
