Description:

I haven't see an ephemera or ATC goodie swap in a while and those were my Favorites, so why not start one of my own, right? I've been hangin' aroung long enough to give a try at hosting a swap. This is my first one, so be kind to me. (he-he)

You will have two partners, USA and Canada only (shipping can get expensive with these goodies).

Stuff a 6 x 9 envelope with as many ATC goodies as you can; paper, velum, ribbon, lace, bottle caps, wood blocks, stickers, glitter, gel pens. If your aiming for hearts, emossing powder, cat eye inks, broken jewlery, flowers, you get the idea!

Read your partners profile, be creative, and have fun, that's about it!

The formalities: Absolutly no "no sends", and only 1 "poor" rating allowed. If you have a question and feel you have a circumstance I should know about and you really want to join, please contact me, I'm not unreasonable.

You will have two weeks from the sign-up date, to mail, so please mail your envelopes on time!

OK I have been looking through all of the swaps and I see a LOT of "ATC" swaps... I am kind of new at this and I have NO idea what those are!!! Can someone help me? ^_^

To Marionsmom:

If you are new to ATC's or are curious about what they are a great site to read up on them is http://www.cedarseed.com/air/atc.html

To gatorsmom: Do I need to cut my papers down to ATC size, or can I leave them slightly larger to let the recipient cut how they feel. Some of the pattered paper, the recipient may want to cut it in different ways then I might cut it. So far I was just planning on cutting it to fit the envelope.

To my partner, I'm obsessed with brads on ATCs, and lace, just a couple hints... I also like to use thin metal or metallic thread.

Marionsmom, ATC's are 2.5 x 3.5 trading cards (you can use a deck of cards, baseballs cards, etc.. as your base) to serve as you blank pallet for art.

Another neat website, giving both meaning and examples is: http://www.outsidethemargins.com/atcs.html

CelestialFreak - You can send any size paper you would like. I think most of use a variety of sizes to pick and tear at. Thanks for asking!
