EOTSH: How do YOU do school?

The Group forums have been a little slow lately so I thought I would do a quick, easy, and free "get to know me" type email swap..

As educators outside the schoolhouse it seems we are always interested in other's methods.. it helps us to add things we never thought of, and perhaps even take something away b/c we are doing to much.. OR solidify for you that you are on the right path..

So with this swap you will send an email (at least a few paragraphs long but can be longer) telling your partner how you "do" school.. for those of you who don't homeschool but choose to supplement your child's public school learning simply explain how you go about doing that. Please include details like books/curriculum you use, schedules (or if unstructured like unschooling - how you day usually unfolds), and how your kids seem to like it.. funny stories would be an added bonus..also links to perhaps online resources would be a added bonus but not required. I don't want to put too many rules about what you MUST include, but just be sure to send out what you would like to receive in return.

You will send this via SWAPBOT PM.. that way we dont have to worry about things being lost in cyberspace and we have proof of when it was sent. You will be sending to THREE partners.. you can make up three different PM's OR you can cut and paste the same message to all three.. it's up to you.
