MAIL DELAY: I love the USPS, but the mail seems to be slow (it took 3 weeks to reach one partner), and a little weird (I received a previous pay stub after a more recent one)! There have also been some days where I haven't gotten delivery at all, or where the postal worker has come quite late in the evening!

I live in New York (state) and I recently finished my graduate degree in Teaching English as a New Language (formerly ESL). I was in a long term position substitute through June in a school, but not as an ENL teacher. I hope to find another job soon because I really want to save up to travel! I work a lot but I like to be crafty in my free time: I crochet some, I make bracelets sometimes and I like to experiment with new things. When I am working alone I often listen to music or podcasts (Drunk Women Solving Crime is a favorite!). I like to read, although I haven't had as much time to do so lately, and I very much enjoy mail! I live for coffee, traveling and learning about different languages and cultures. Snow is a gift but Autumn is my favorite season because I love the cool breezes, Fall rain, and the colored leaves. :)

I don't really have favorite music. My relationship with music revolves around my life and moods and I listen to nearly every type of music at some point or other. I don't like screamo and I'm not a huge fan of bluegrass or rap, but anything else is likely to be in my music library. I have opera, country, musical theater, polka, classical, rock, Italian love songs, pop, folk, orchestra arrangements, classic rock and latino ballads, rap and salsa all on my iPod, among other things. I love to listen to 70s hits when I'm cleaning, salsa while I'm mowing the lawn and rock while I'm driving. Work was tough today but then Jessie's Girl came on...and my smile came out! If I had to pick a favorite musical piece I would pick Spring from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. The imagery and intertwining of the different instruments never fails to bring a smile to my face, no matter what mood I'm in!!!
