Hi! My name is Angie and I am 31 years old and a mother of one 15 year old son and in a long term relationship with my boyfriend of seven years. I am also the owner of one adorable sweet black cat named Jinx.

I love music (listening as well as playing and creating) movies and fashion! I am especially interested in gothic clothing and that goes for all the sub genres of gothic fashion as well.

Fun fact about me, years ago you may have seen me, for a split second, on American Idol! I was actually shown 3 different times on this episode and this was the year that Taylor Hicks won the AI title. Speaking of Taylor, I was sitting right next to him while we waited to audition for Simon, Paula & Randy and I kindly shared my bottle of water with him right before it was time for the audition.....I so should have saved that bottle....I probably could have sold it for a mint on ebay since it had touched his lips LOL Anyhow, not only did I meet Taylor at the auditions but I also met Carly Smithson who was in the top 12 a few seasons later!! She and I hit it off as friends and kept in touch here and there for a long time but lately she has been busy since she joined We Are The Fallen (made up of most of the original members of Evanescence and also the bassist of Disturbed & Static X) so I haven't heard from her for a while now.

Later that year after I tried out for AI, a friend of mine who is a musician was looking for a singer for a band he and another friend of his had started and he knew that I sing well and liked my voice for the type of music they were making and so I ended up joining the band as lead singer and lyricist. Our band's name is The Silverback and we wrote and recorded one full length cd and did a small run (I think about 500, maybe 1000) of our cd's and we sold them online, in some local stores, etc... I was totally gung ho with the band thing and was promoting like a maniac on myspace and there was a lot of excitement and interest in our music by fans, by independant radio stations and things of that sort, also some independant films wanted to feature our songs for the soundtrack and what not but unfortunately my band mates didn't have the same hopes as me I guess and so it just never took off like I feel it could have. After a while we just stopped meeting up for practice and it just fell apart. In between then and now, the guys contacted me to ask about recording another album and I wanted to for sure, I mean I love recording, but I was working so much at the time I just didn't have the energy to put into it at that time so it never happened. Oh yes and I have a twisted mind and sense of humour and do not get offended or embarrass easily, but I am courteous to others who are not similarly twisted minded...but if you are, please feel free to let your freak flag fly when communicating with me!!! :D

I love many different genres of music so my musical tastes vary....I do tend to especially love rock music and I grew up in the Seattle area in the 90's so I love all the Seattle grunge/alternative music!!

I love, love loooooovvvveee Stephen King (especially the Dark Tower series), Edgar Allen Poe and I am a huge Twilight saga fan too....laugh at me if you want for being so into Twilight when I'm not a teenager and haven't been for many years, I don't mind but I still love it just the same :P

And OMFG!!! I just found out that Stephen King is writing an 8th Dark Tower book!!!!!!!! And the film and tv series adaptations of the books are in development as we speak to boot!!!!! I so can't wait, I'm stoked about this monumentous news!! :D

Oh and for edibles (candy and things that might be sent for swaps) I love hard candy like Jolly Ranchers, cinnamon discs, butterscotch discs, Werthers originals, root beer flavored candies, also like chewing gum, DARK chocolate (milk chocolate is okay but more often than not it's just meh to me and white chocoloate I can't stand at all, I think it reminds me too much of vanilla which I despise LOL) Almond Joy & Mounds are my favorite candy bars, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered espresso beans, yogurt covered raisins.....hmmm I'm sure there's more but that's good enough for now...I don't actually eat candy very often at all but it's nice to have once in a while :)

Okay, so obviously if you've looked at my ratings you see that currently my rating stinks and I have a bunch of 1's on there which are no sends from 2007. I signed up back in 2007 and when I first signed up I was doing good, following through on swaps and I was having fun, got excited and then made the horrid mistake of joining every swap that sounded fun and also hosting a few of my own (at the same time). So what happened is that I got so overwhelmed with swaps I was supposed to follow through on that there was no way I could get it all done in time, I just tried to take on too much and then I started to get bad ratings and I was still trying to work on making all the mix cd's for the cd swaps and all that among everything else and it just never happened. Then I tried to get back to it a few months later and got a few swaps completed and checked off the list but my list was still too long for my brain to handle at that time because I ended up just not logging in again after that until....well, until just recently (June 2010) So here I am and I have pm'd every single person I flaked on back then in the hopes that they will log on soon and see my message and let me know where to send their stuff. Meanwhile I have compiled a list of all the stuff I need to prepare so that as people contact me I can send their stuff to them and check it off the list. Meanwhile I'm trying to get my rating up and have joined some email swaps and postcard swaps for now so hopefully my rating will look less awful in the near future and hopefully as I get the past swaps completed hopefully I'll also get some of those feedbacks fixed or at least then I can say I finally got them taken care of and all that happened back then was a lesson learned not to take on too much at one time. So this time around I have a nice full watch list but I don't just join everything without being sure I can get it done on time.....I hope this helps to explain my 1's and my low rating and I hope I will be given the opportunity to make this as right as can be and to participate in new swaps, though I know that I will have to prove that I'm not going to flake like that again and show that I'm not a deadbeat swapper!! To anyone who may be reading this who got flaked on by me in 2007, I do apologize greatly and will be happy to hook you up with your long overdue packages once you contact me and tell me where to send to!!!! Crafty stuff, well I am interested in learning about more crafts, I am not advanced in any crafts by any means, though I'm not too shabby at making DIY reconstructed t-shirts (I take a t-shirt like a band shirt or something of that sort and I turn it into things like hoodies, halter tops, corset style tank tops, skirts, dresses, etc...) Currently my sewing machince, serger, fabric and embellishments are in my storage unit though so sadly I can't do any crafting of that kind right now!! I do love ribbon, grommet tape, buttons, studs, spikes, embellishments of all kinds though so those always make me happy to get!!

Paper crafts are great too and easy for me to pick up on compared to other crafts so scrapbooking stuff is great for me and any other paper craft embellishments and tools or whatever!

I love trims, ribbons, lace, grommet tape and things of that sort, those will always make me happy to get!!!!
