Hello! My name is Barbora. I live in the Czech republic. I live in a small town called Paskov, which is located near Ostrava, in the North Moravian region. But in a few months I am going to move to my boyfriend to a village not far away.

I am 22 years old and I have just finished my bachelor studies. I studied English and Czech language and literature.

Generally, I am into all things old, so if you want to make me extremely happy, you can send me anything retro/vintage themed.

What is also very interesting is everything traditional from your country. It is very exciting to find some original traditional piece of work from foreign countries which I will probably never be able to visit.

I love to find new pen-pals across the world! Let me know if you want to write with me.

I love music, mostly rock. Currently I am into Joy Division. My other favourite bands are: Pink Floyd, Queen, Beatles, Garbage, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, the Doors and many more. I love to collect LP's, both old and new.

As for music, I currently try to learn to play the drums. Me and my boyfriend are still working on some songs and we hope to be a real band one day.

I love to read and also to write, I hope to finish a storybook one day, it is my biggest dream.

My favourite authors are Douglas Adams, J. D. Salinger or Milan Kundera, just to name a few.

I enjoy the sci-fi genre, thus the Star Wars are one of my favourites. I like also Marvel movies. As one of my favourite things ever is the Monty Python, I, of course, love their movies.

The Czech members of swap-bot will definitely know the humour of Jára Cimrman or Šimek and Grossmann duo.

But one of the movies that affected me is of different genre. It is The Man from Earth.

As I mentioned, Monty Python's Flying Circus is my all time favourite. I appreciate British humour in every form, e. g. The Red Dwarf is classic.

From the more recent series I watch Sherlock, The Big Bang Theory and currently I started watching Vinyl.
