Hello, my name is Laura and I'm a new user to swap-bot. I currently work second shift, and have been struggling with finding things to do in the morning while others are at work so here I am!

I live with my boyfriend and a good friend along with my small zoo, two cats, two chinchillas and a bearded dragon. It may be an offset food chain but each of my pets are very much family.

I enjoy journaling and writing, it's something I've kinda always done. Drawing can be fun, though to get anything decent I have to really take my time on it. I'm also finding making and painting ceramics are things I'm enjoying.

Overall I'm just very eager to begin swapping!

Movies are a pretty big deal to me, as they provide me a huge amount of relaxation. I love watching indie films, so recommendations welcome! Currently I'm in the process of buying all the Pixar movies on blu-ray ( Monsters Inc being my favorite), and one day hope to have a vast Disney collection.

I have a huge spot in my heart for Snoopy and the peanuts gang ( yes it's more tv but still) likewise the Muppets were very much a staple for growing up, so that's always something I enjoy.

The chronicles of Narnia is very near and dear to me, I've must of read the series well over a hundred times.

Recently I read the hunger games series within a 72 hour Span- I couldn't get enough of it! I enjoy the Sookie Stackhouse series, as well as the Harry potter series.

I always enjoy a good fantasy or sci-fi, and I'll even admit it, I have quite the collection of Batman comic books!

I like incense and recipes. I love to read, particularly fantasy or sci-fi. I thoroughly enjoy new movie recommendations, Flower seeds are always welcome, as I love to garden. I like seeing pictures or other oddball things from vacations as most of the time it'll be experiences or places I'll never be able to go. I'm a huge fan of any and all animals, I also enjoy stationary. :-)

I have a vast scarf collection.

I'm finding through swap bot that I am a huge postcard fan, I enjoy getting postcards that reflect where they are from.

I'm also trying my hand at origami and art journaling now.

Currently I crotchet and do ceramic work but I love love love to try new things. I'm trying my hand now at an art journal and am thinking at one point to start making kawaii, any and all advice on any of this is welcome.

To be honest, I'm not that artistic but I thoroughly enjoy the process and learning from it, which in the end is the most important thing for me. I truly enjoy learning new things :-D

I'm finding through swap-bot that I truly love postcards. I like fun non-traditional ones, and I do like recieving fun state cards. I am collecting postcards from brewery's (I.e. Red hook , Magic hat, ect) so those are always welcomed.
