Hi my name is Danielle and I love getting stuff in the mail! ("Hi Danielle") I currently live in the Jersey ghetto, right next door to NYC and although I love it, I'm also homesick for my Midwest home. So I feel loved when I get mail :)

I'm originally from Marquette in Michigan's U.P. (Upper Peninsula); grew up in lower Michigan between Flint and Detroit; and lived my early adult life in Indiana. It was always my dream to live in NYC, and now here I am :)

I may be newish to this site but I've been penpaling and swapping packages with friends and family all over the world for years and I will never flake on you!

I'm completely obsessed with animals and I have a dog and 2 cats of my own....but if I could I'd most literally have 20 more! The only animal that will never be my friend is the mouse. I've had way too many rodent roommates and I will never have a long term relationship with another mouse. ( if I say it enough they won't come back, right?)

For those of you allergic to animals, no worries because I pack my envelopes/packages in a place where they don't go. I apologize in advance if a stray hair makes it in your package :(

I love music and I'm totally obsessed with my iPod and iPhone. Ob-sessed!! Some of my favorites are:

Although I don't do it as much as I'd like, I love cooking!!! And I'm also totally into finding new recipes...especially healthy, easy recipes. I mean, I want to get fit and exercise but I don't. So I need more motivation there. Anyone want to buy me an eliptical? How about a Wii and a Wii Fit? ;)

Actually, if anyone lives in Jersey City/NYC and wants to be exercise buddies, I'm in the market! I don't currently workout, and I totally need to start...but I'm a complete novice!

I am super crafty but I rarely get time to craft! I have a HUGE craft closet in NJ and even more in storage. Right now I'm into embroidery and knitting but I also like making soap. I'm totally obsessed with finding embroidery, knitting and misc craft patterns online. And I love browsing blogs to see what everyone else is up to.

I used to keep a blog of my own but I've lost motivation...so anything you can do to motivate me would be awesome :)

Here's a "short list" of stuff I would like to get, but I'm totally easy to please!

My Wishlist:

• Crafting patterns (eg knitting or embroidery) and other crafting ideas
• Easy recipes to make for 2 people
• Tips on great websites...doesn't have to be craft related
• Return address labels...with my address on them (with a cute picture like a cupcake or owl, etc)
• Teas...I'm recently addictted to really good teas (have you ever tried Adagio.com??? Yumm!)
• Homemade (or store bought) dog treats
• Cat toys
• Random envelopes filled with stuff :)
• iTunes gift cards
• Anything raspberry flavored (candy, gum, etc)
• Dark chocolate (I LOVE raspberry-flavored dark chocolate covered almonds!!)
• Speaking of chocolate...if you send me chocolate covered sunflower seeds you will get triple hearts from me!
• Anything cinnamon flavored (my favorite coffee is Dunkin Donuts with cinnamon flavor mixed in)
• Oooh speaking of cinnamon, I love the Yankee Candle Cinnamon Red Hots scent. I also love their Green Apple scents! I really love scented candles!
• Cupcake Cafe vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting...it's a NYC bakery and these cupcakes are to-die-for!!!!
• Dunkin Donuts coffee
• Popcorn...especially white cheddar and Chicago Mix
• Unique jewelry (I also love very simple, delicate necklaces AND big, chunky, trendy necklaces!)
• Gum...I love trying new flavors
• Just about anything from ETSY
• Mix CDs of your favorite music
• Light pink/natural lip glosses
• Mint Carmex (it's kinda hard to find so I you send me a tube I'll be your forever friend!)
• iTunes gift certificates (I'm addicted)
• CE Bigelow peppermint & lightly tinted lip balm from Bath & Body Works
• Solid perfume or roll-on perfumes (I like light-everyday scents...I gravitate towards soft florals but I also like tuberose, and light sugary scents

• Raspberry scented lotions...as much as I love the taste of raspberry, I over used the lotion in college and now I can't stand the smell
