I started off as a user on Interpals, where I got into snail-mailing fairly quickly. I've never been one to swaps on purpose because I have only ever sent out presents to friends. These range from things like hand crocheted pillows to drawings to teas. But until a friend suggested it to me, I never realized that there was a community dedicated to doing stuff like that.

But unfortunately, my crocheting is self taught, so besides basic things like pillows or scarves, I'm not capable of anything else. Someday I would love to learn to do intricate things such as blankets or bags, but as of right now, it's just not possible. The biggest project I have done was a rainbow scarf for a penpal last Christmas.

So, a bit more about me-

My name is Destiny, and I live in the USA. I hope to travel some day, and I think I might start of slowly within the USA and Canada, and then move outwards to other countries. My dream is one day to visit many countries in Europe (which is where most of my penpals are)

My goal in life is to become a teacher of English and/or History and/or a foreign language. I'm having mixed feelings though, because I'm not sure if I want to teach kids if the trend I see keeps up.
