Yes, I seem to have dropped off the face of the earth and I'm sorry about that. I have had some family and health issues that have been a huge distraction from the fun part of my life.

I'm a Canadian, mother of two 20-something kids who've moved on, married for many years, and getting back to my crafting roots after years of neglecting them. I divide my time between living on a 60' houseboat in the City and a house in Wasaga Beach, the world's longest fresh water beach. I'm a Pisces, what can I say?

I love vibrant colours, funky things. Paper, fibre, silver, blue is my favourite colour, small boxes, journals, anything creative.

I prefer to have my partner send me what appeals to them. Stops me from having everything blue in my world - know what I mean?

Why I love to swap --

The little blue pouch with the hand embrodiered patch I now carry my PDA in. The earrings I am wearing right now. The gorgeous purple mug that I unfortunately cracked but now holds my pens on my desk. The new talent I have to make postcards and ATC's - picked up on this site. My new love of art journaling - picked up here. My penpal in California - met through Swap-bot. A new appreciation for Teas - from the tea swaps. I could go on and on.

I do want to comment on ratings though........hearts are great but I'm often puzzled when I get a heart for an interesting store-bought postcard but none for 24 little presents wrapped and sent for Advent or a Whimsey Jar filled with all kinds of cool little stuff including expensive lip balm. Go figure? Just can't take hearts seriously anymore but then, it doesn't really matter does it - as long as we're all having fun?!

Blues, Latin, Jazz, Pop - just about anything really!

Hmm, hard to choose. I like good comedy, thrillers, not too much violence but a good action flick is fun too.

I seem to be attempting to take a TV break although living with a TV fanatic makes that difficult. I like comedy, mystery and I hate to admit it but I've become hooked on Corrie.

Free form knitting and crocheting, new into beading, fibre art, collage - I especially like re-purposing something. Spent a lot of time last year shrinking wool sweaters and making stuff.

I am becoming totally addicted to swapping! My new hobby (habit)!
