I live in Monterrrey, Mexico. I'm 23. I'll be graduating from psychology major on May 2011. I've been dating someone for six months now and I'm crazy about him. I still live with my parents, but I hope to get a place of my own soon.

My passion in life is music. I've been playing piano and acoustic guitar for years. Been singing in college concerts and musicals since I was about 14. I love musicals, theater, traveling, artsy movies, cooking, trying out new things, writing, interior decorating, reading novels & more. I intend to start studying a profession in music composition in a few months.

I'm a very happy, bubbly person. I love nature, animals and kids. I enjoy the simple things, like hanging out with my friends and family, going to a movie or the theater. I also know three languages: spanish, english and french.

I love collecting things, but I do not have many collections so far, that's one of the reasons I singned up in SwapBot. I'd really like to collect postcards, post stamps, and letters in general. I'm also an avid snail-mailer.

Friends, Desperate Housewives, Glee, House, How I met your mother, That 70's show, Everybody loves Raymond, The Big Bang theory, etc.

I'm no expert, but I hope to be a really good cook/chef someday. I really love italian food, I'd have to say it's my favorite. I also love japanese food (can't get enough of those rolls), and of course, mexican food... It's the best. If you've never tried real mexican food, you can't really say you've lived. 'Sides, I must say I'm not that bad a cook... Ask my boyfriend ;D.

My all-time favorite band is Coldplay. I also love The Beatles (who doesn't?), The Killers, The Cranberries, Queen, Goo Goo Dolls, Guns 'n Roses, Aerosmith, Dave Matthews Band, Alanis Morissette, Bon Jovi, Franz Ferdinand, Incubus, Muse, Radiohead, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, etc.

I also admire other artists like Elton John, Paul McCartney, Phil Collins and so on. I'm a fan of other music genders like jazz/blues, R&B, britpop, classic rock, etc. I completely adore Beyonce's voice.

I've seen some of them live in Monterrey (my hometown). We've actually had a lot of action in this city concert-wise, a lot of celebs coming through here all the time. Great bands, great city (second largest city in Mexico).

I have to say my favorite musical of all time (no surprise here) is The Phantom of the Opera. I also adore My Fair Lady, Wicked, Spring Awakening, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Grease, Xanadu and others.

I know how to play the piano pretty well (been playing since I was 8), and the acoustic guitar (since age 10). I've been taking singing classes for almost 10 years now and I can say I have a good singing voice, a nice technique and near-perfect music hearing.

I know everyone says the exact same thing, BUT... My mom is the best cook in the entire world ♥. Not only is she very experienced, but she has this natural talent to twist recipes to her own convenience and come up with these incredible masterpieces. I have to say I'm thankful I got that gene :D.

I guess I can say I can write. I like to read a lot, so it kinda comes with the package. I believe I'm very creative when it comes to writing. I've been keeping a journal since forever, I like to write poems from time to time (about life, love, beauty, people, truth...) and, as I said earlier, I snail-mail with some very nice people from all over the world. I sometimes like to think I'm writing a novel, but it's still just a bunch of ideas on a piece of paper with some "interesting" plot. (I actually got a 1920's NY Royal typewriter for Christmas! I adore it!).

I really wanna learn how to: write well, play the piano better, play other instruments (drums, violin, etc.), write great music, cook all kinds of things, knit, garden, properly decorate interiors, take professional photos, etc.
