Hello! My name is Emi! I am turning 34 this year. I'm hoping to make some good friends who share some of the same interests as me. I haven't been on here in a while but I would like to get back into doing swaps again!

My main interests right now are Bible study, Bible journaling, bullet journaling, kawaii journaling, eating healthy, spending time in the outdoors, gardening, reading lots of books, sewing, crafting, sending snail mail, snuggling with my cats, and starting my online business. I also love to play board games, video games, and table top RPG games. I’m getting into living history more these days and would love to do it more often.

I am very interested in Japanese culture and enjoy a lot of things from Japan. Especially the cute journaling supplies and stationery! My husband and I are hoping to visit Japan someday! I hope to learn Japanese fluently someday.

Right now we have dreams of having our own homestead so we are working towards that goal! I spend hours on YouTube watching videos related to homesteading and skills I can utilize once we have our own place! Currently I am very interested in learning how to can food! Someday I hope to own alpacas because I love them soooo much!

As far as penpals go, I'm interested in doing many different types of swaps since I'm interested in so many different things. I'm open to letter writing, snail mail, craft swaps, postcards, etc. I can do long term or one time swaps. I am on the search for a few long term pen pals from other countries. I have never had a long term pen pal. I consider myself a Believer in Yeshua as Messiah (Jesus Christ) and so I would love some penpals that share the same faith as me, but I don't mind at all having penpals who are of a different faith. :)

I love Japanese mascots! I especially love to learn about the different mascots from each town and region! I love Rilakkuma and Little Twin Stars! I also love LINE games (Tsum Tsum, I Love Coffee, LINE Play, LINE Bubble, etc!) So I really love their mascots!

I also love Amuse characters... Amuse makes plushies!I also really love their Alpacassos, which are alpaca plushies, I have two right now!

I love Animal Crossing! I haven’t played New Horizons yet but you can find my on Pocket Camp! :)

I collect tea, bookmarks, postcards, badges, patches, pins, stamps, and coins.

I love vintage looking stuff and ephemera. I especially love anything vintage scouting (Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, etc) and anything related to women in history especially Women’s Land Army and women on the Oregon trail!

My favorite colors are pastels; light blue, light pink, light purple, mint green. I love natural colors as well... Deep forest greens, light and dark browns, beige, tans, and colors of flowers.

My favorite patterns/shapes/prints: Cacti, Moon & Stars, Planetary, Paisley, Plaid, Otters, Bicycles, Floral, Trains, Strawberries.

My favorite animals are otters, alpacas, cats, foxes, and hedgehogs!

My favorite comfort items are flowers, candles, coffee, tea, matcha, chocolates, pocky, hats, sweaters, slippers, socks, handmade blankets, books, bookmarks, squishies, and scarves.

My favorite foods are pizza, nachos, tacos, salad, veggies, quinoa, soup, ramen, curry, Mac n cheese, strawberries, bananas, oatmeal.

DISLIKES: I'm not a fan of dark styles, unless it's nature themed. Also dislike monochrome, or anything without loads of color. I hate anything black licorice flavored. I don't like mean people or internet trolls. I don't like prejudiced or judgmental people!

I love to read! I love lots of genres but my favorites are fantasy, mystery, historical fiction, historical romance, romance, classics, and historical biographies/journals. I read a lot of Christian fiction. I also read a lot of devotionals.
