Recently retired nurse and loving it! I ran a podiatrist office for many years. when he retired, I retired.

Looking forward to sharing my art with others around the world!

I have 5 grown children. 3 boys, 2 girls. Working on avoiding my second divorce through counselling and team building activities.

I love to travel. I collect postcards wherever I go. I mostly choose ones with scenery and nature, but I grab a building one if the architecture grabs me.

For postcards I receive in mail, I like postcards I can color or that have been colored. For store bought touristy cards you send me, I love beach, lake, ocean, scenes. Anything with water or related to boats, nautical, etc.

My next trip will be a road trip to drive route 66. I've always wanted to. I'd like to also begin traveling world wide. I've only been to Mexico, Canada, and much of the US.

I love receiving decorated envelopes!

I love to write! I have a couple pen pals made if old friends who moved away. We visit them about once a year. Looking to make new friends and maybe a few new pen pals. I found swap bot in a search for crafting pen pals.

I'm working on my first novel. It would best fit in the inspired romance genre. It's loosely based on my Tony and I.

I started aflickr for my crafts and coloring. Kind of a journal as I finish things. Search my name on there. I'm not sure how to find out my url from that app.

I color daily. I'm glad it's become a popular thing so others are doing it too! I usually color in a combination of map pencils and gel pens. Sometimes, I pull out the crayons. I love the way they smell! Crayola crayons only, of course!

I draw, paint, cross stitch, embroider, crochet, tat, and do bead work. Looking into other crafts I've seen here. A lot of them look like fun new hobbies! I've made a couple ATCs. I'm not brave enough in this new craft to share it, yet. I'd love to start collecting them.

I do much of what's called paper crafts. I make cards, oragami, decor for the house, and that such. Trying many new paper crafts since joining the site. Pocket letters. Made one. Sent to a trader who trades them. Hoping I'll get a review and pointers. I'll definitely be trading them once I feel I'm doing it right. mini zines are my next got to try it craft.

Working on a journal and a scrap book. I love journaling and scrapbooking! Looking for stickers to use.

I collect monkeys, clowns, and flowers. Nautical themed things too.

Colors my favorite color is red. Second is teal. I like glitter of all colors. There are no colors I don't like. Lately, I have a tendency to put teal and grey together. It's a nice combination.

Teas. I don't have a favorite, I have a dozen varieties at any given time. I adore a cup of hot tea every morning before the world goes crazy. I'd love to begin trading teas!

Tony says don't forget that I collect Labradors. Lol We have 4 labs and one.....well, I'm not sure what he is, but we thought he was a lab puppy at first, but vet says he's full grown mix of goodness knows what. I bring home dogs. I'm a sucker for a lab that needs a home. Every time.

I never sit still if I can help it. I do read a romance if it's given to me. Friends of mine use my book shelves to trade books when we meet here each month. I call it my library. Any romances left there are read by me then returned for the next reader.

I like some shows and movies. Andy Griffith, gun smoke, the big valley, rifle man, matlock, in the heat of the night, somewhere in time, gone with the wind, sound of music,

My niece set me up with Netflix. With it being on demand, with most shows and movies I like, I have to admit I've stayed on it more than I thought I would.

Music. That's where it's at! My music tastes are very eclectic. My favorite is the big bands. Second is old hymns. Third is 80s rock. Then blues, jazz, oldies, heavy metal, classical rock, classical music, show tunes, old country, new country, pop, ectect. I'm really annoying on road trips as I randomly change the station constantly. Jack fm is good. They like random music as much as I do!

I play piano, organ, sax, trombone, flute, violin, viola, cello, trumpet, and I sing, but only occasionally. We tried Karaoke a few times with friends. I had fun. We have plans to go again soon.
